You are so right. Being a tank and rolling over people works in college and can get you into the league, but it usually means a short career unless you can adapt and evolve.

The smartest way to have him loose weight. He had him do it incrementally as opposed to saying lose 50lbs which seems like such a big number but by saying only 10lbs it seems more attainable.

Amen Bro. MOSES MALONE Was one of the most dominant inside players ever, he played power forward and center and was only 6-9, and one of the hardest workers ever and was a terror on the backboards, he also mentored Akeem Olajawon. One of the best of his era. But these young internet fans don't understand how good these guys from that era were, that's why when you look at these top 10 lists you always have players from 2000s and beyond and absolutely forget about the guys that built and made the game what it is today.

That's one of the biggest problems with the modern NBA. There aren't that many great elder statesmen in the game. Men who have the resume and prestige to challenge and motivate younger players.

He was a top Power Forward between 250-255 with Philly and Phoenix ... my favorite player ever .. have a section in my Sports room dedicated to him with his 1st Airforces and his Olympic Shoes along with all 3 Jerseys signed that he wore throughout is incredible 16 year career!! Sir Charles = Legend!! Rip Moses Malone! gone way too soon!!

It cut short of Big Mo, having Chuck drop too low, telling him to go back up five or ten to his "ideal" playing weight... where Chuck still had the muscle mass, have the movement, but wasn't drained at that bottom side where he suffered physically.
