When a 20th century composer puts 'landscapes' in the title, it's a pretty sure bet that there'll be a lot of open 5ths in the texture. Koechlin certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard.

No 5 is lovely isn't it? that sense of wistful regret the fin de siecle French composers are so good at evoking ...
