Just across Charles Mangus. Listen to him in good old New York days like 50 years ago. Never saw hime live but wore the croover off albums. Lets Not forget Miles Davis. But Charles dammmm besr. Peace Out and Love MMLZZZ

@@brax08224 he’s best composer who’s an upright bassist for sure. But NHOP, Christian McBride, Stanley Clarke, and patitucci are all better technically, and I’d say nhop, Ron carter, and ray brown for sure have more swinging bass lines
