@joycee54933 жыл бұрын
@@ciara2837 ... I agree with you. It was well ridden. Best thing to do is just keep the horse steady and try to keep it between your hands and your legs as best you can… Even though jockeys don’t have their legs down around the horse. To try to do anything harsh like a one rein stop with a horse that’s that young and out-of-control is much more dangerous than just keeping everything steady. Anything too drastic could cause the horse to stumble and fall.It was a tough situation to be in and I think the jockey did a great job.

@marialindell98743 жыл бұрын
With some horses, it's better for them to calm down before catching. Some horses can bolt and even go running with other horses (like if they are competetive and see a warm-up as competition) and that obviously creates a dangerous situation. People are aware of the loose horse as the man on the intercom informed of it. We doknow what we are doing, trust me.

Probably because the pony went for it and the rider fallen of in the warming up. It can happen even in other horse riding sports. Isn’t uncommon but when it does it sure is a shame. Because the horse or pony spend his energy before the race or completion even started and then your in a disadvantage. That is probably why the rider decided to not race in the end. Hope fully this explains it a bit for you. ^^
