Charles Hamelin is an incredibly astute interpreter of Chopin -- what exquisite timing and nuance ! And his tone quality is just right -- never too bright or edgy (which I detest). And then there is his clarity (not over pedalled) and his ability to highlight certain lines and figures. I could go on -- his interpretation of this immortal music moves me deeply ...

for me he deserved the first prize in 2015

I like the pause to reflect between each one ,also the slower considered tempo of some.(maybe also try slower in no 23 to contrast with 24 ? :like julianna avdeeva does) . In 21 he does some lovely effects in the left hand halfway through

Listen to the first three notes of the melody of Raindrop prelude(15) and then the first three notes on number 24...Like Chopin knew that 15 would be the immortal one and then the last prelude like a darker, more aggressive reminder of it as the finale.
