This is Tehachapi, Cajon Pass, the Los Angeles Area and the Bay Area at its best. The Needles Subdivision and Stockton Junction round out the action in this tribute to the Santa Fe’s various generations of the “Warbonnets”.

Nice quality videos. Santa Fe seemed like they would always be a part of the American West. Hard to believe this was over 30 years ago, and they're long gone.

Bnsf is lame dont want to do that. Up has heritage unit of southern pacific rio grande northwestern etc csx has a bunch and ns and cp

All they did was slap some decals on a few locomotives instead of doing full Heritage repaints. Totally lame. FNBS. Lol

28:13 huh never have seen a trailer loaded across 2 flats like that before, neat way to make room when individual trailers were becoming too long to fit multiple on a single car

Excellent video. The Mojave crossing is some desolate stretch of railroad. It's cool you included some C&A action at Cadiz. Unfortunately, the handsome green and white California & Arizona paint scheme has since been replaced by GW orange and yellow.
