God favors who he wants to favor, it was favor why he chose Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It was favor why he chose David and Solomon, folks even John the Baptist had to baptize Jesus. Yahweh can speak to you however he pleases, Moses walked with God and at times Yahweh spoke through his brother and sister to speak to him.

That’s a great question King, I think some people just naturally have his favor while others have to pray their way into his favor. I get what Charleston is trying to say, but let’s not forget as Christians no one is perfect. We all fall short everyday. Let’s not push this narrative in order to be a Christian you must be perfect, that will never happen. From the moment you start to walk with Jesus you will have many challenges because the devil does not want you walking with Jesus. Also falling and sinning is different than actively going out and hunting for sin. I fell many times before I understood the walk with Jesus and even now that I understand the walk I still fall short. But Jesus forgives and I get up and try my best to live the way he wants me to live. More importantly I ask for Forgiveness
