That’s why I thank god as I’m growing in my maturity and coming into my first of many businesses and products that all the bling and chains as I was once fascinated with coming up as a kid teenager even adult. 22 years ago I owned a Patek Philippe (pre owned of course lol) and none of my homies nor the hood looked twice. But I will say this and I’ve said this for years. We’ve gotta look like what money looks like to those we’re trying to inspire, until our names or body of work becomes synonymous with money. Those same people have already arrived, but when they were entry C suite executives, they were spending to look like money too. Even if their spend was different than the typical black money spend, while on the rise. It’s a game and everyone plays it. Wayne Weaver the old owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars said in an interview that the only reason he purchased the huge 16k sq. Ft. Mansion was because he hadn’t yet arrived. This was a 9 figure multi millionaire. So all that to say, that until I purchased the cheaper brand new Rolex, the children at the inner city schools I was trying to inspire didn’t look twice at my Patek, because to them it want impressive, and my name wasn’t yet synonymous with wealth. The simple Rolex purchase made breaking the ice with these hip hop lifestyle influenced kids much much easier. We’ve gotta reach ‘em before we can teach em, and a lil honest 💪🏿 flexing goes a long way. #StealthWealth is my personal favorite lane to be in. But until my name/brand/ becomes synonymous with wealth, the youth I’m most interested in inspiring must first be impressed. And just keeping it only goes so far.

PRO TIP: Like I always say, the people you see with Exotic Cars, Mansions, Diamonds in their jewelry, Buss down Watches, High End Luxury Clothing and Shoes, etc. Everything about their appearance says that they’re SPENDING MONEY, not that you’re making money or that you actually have money, nope. Real wealth is always unseen.
