@@BBBB-qe9vt *These ARENT Chucks BARS!!* I love Charlie but as a entertainer, she NOT a spitter/rapper/emcee!! Listen to her "UNtertainment Freestyle w/ Cam'RON" on Funk MAster Flex "60 mins of Funk vol.3" album! Her verse is B-A-N-A-N-A-S except.... its NOT her verse!! Its CAMS!! This particular song i heard was wrote by METH, I used to think Ghost wrote it before that info was shared. Foxy is ANOTHER one she has some of the ILLEST verse but, they are NOT hers they are CORmega's, Az's, NAs', Jay's, Shyne's, Fabs. etc. etc.

Charlie Baltimore was one of the dopest female M.C.s'. Highly underrated.
@WiseDaGod7774 жыл бұрын
*Black Mud* I fucked with Charlie but, like ALOT of the females in that ERA they were just "Faces" they didn't write there shit! They would get bars from whoever they was working on the record with! The QUEEN of this would be: "Foxy" (Fox boogie Brown) the reason is: "She worked with soo MANY people!" - Started with Jay-Z - Went to Firm where she had 4 different super spitters (Nas, A.Z., Cormega, Nature) - Did a song with Shyne where she was rapping JUST LKE this nigga down to the DEEP VOICE! If you know these rappers flows & cadences & the specific lingo they say you can pick up precisely when she was spitting a Nas verse, when she was reciting a Cormega verse, when it was A.Z. etc. etc. That AMZING executive decision verse was Cormega (I believe... like 85% sure) Lil Kim ONLY fucked with Big in the beginning so it was easier to believe that she just had a Big-ISH type ~flow~ being that she was Squad but, all you have to do is look, once big died and she continued her albums were full of random credited names! She was getting ghost riders galore! On the quiet storm record all of a sudden she just drops the Big flow & picks up a prodigy flow??? Prodigy wrote her verse! I believe they said Method Man wrote Charlie's Verse for ^^this^^ record!!! Meth did a decent amount of Ghost Writing so I think he did decent job in masking his signature style (If he was the actual ghost writer) but u can tell this isn't Charlie because its the only record she has with this TYPE of content & this type of cadence. For EXTREME example look at the SHORT time she spent with Cam'ron her verses sounded JUST LIKE early Killa Cam S.D.E. Confession of a Fire Cam! And that the exact time she was with Cam under UN-tertainment umbrella. Then she went to Murda inc. and had a different style there. I think Remy was ONE of the ones from that time period that MAY have been writing her OWN shit but, I might even have some reserves about that too! I just fucked with Chuck's (Charlie B'more) brand! I like the specific energy she bought to her verses & performances, I liked her look, etc.
@TriplomatX4 жыл бұрын
I can see write teams, but Charli Baltimore wrote her shit, she was one her manager had her album sabotaged, then shot got shelved. Then she fucked and signed to Murder Inc.....
@Anfmethodjor4 жыл бұрын
She's not underrated she just doesn't have a huge catalog.
@WiseDaGod7773 жыл бұрын
@@TriplomatX It came out already that meth wrote this verse (forgot who disclosed it) Im SURE she had her OWN lyrics but, majority of what made it to the records we know her for was *"ghost writing"* Listen to her "60 mins of funk vol. 3 freestyle" w/ Cam'ron that shit is *FYYYRE* holy shit str8 fueegoo but, its sounds like 99.9999999% JUST LIKE Cam'ron and... No1 had Cam's flow at that time! Early Cam'ron was a whole Vibe. Similiar to EARLY Noreaga they flows were just soo UNIQUE.

Mrheavyexhaust Same here. I think she was just as good as the other 90s female rappers, if not better. Her shit just kept getting pushed back so much over "creative differences" bullshit. I think that was just a way for her shit to never hit the shelves, because it would've been too much of a rivalry with Lil Kim, because they were all dating Biggie. I honestly think that was the reason.
