I'm really sad I missed the era when old women (ethel) dressed super old fashioned as if they are from a different age. you wouldn't find any old lady wearing a mink stole to a funeral now.

I don't remember this at all, but I do remember the first Peggy. Not quite the Babs Windsor type, was she? Her telling Frank they don't need to be friendly - well, he marries her years later (with her new - and much improved - head)! My how things change down the road...

+Kyle Rees He was Dot's husband and Nick's father. He was not seen on the show very often, as he and Dot were no longer together.

+Allison Halpin Charlie spent most of his time with Dot's sister Rose in Liverpool but he was having relationships with various other women too around the UK. The news of his death travelled around their various addresses until it reached Dot last!!!

+chrishoy77 Just goes to show that good news comes to those who wait. Dot was so lucky when he kicked it. However, then she had to deal with Nick and their continuous battles. Poor Dot.

No she wasn't! No offence to Jo who played the first Peggy but Barbara Windsor was a major improvement !
