Years ago, we did not honor our veterans the way we should have. Charlie changed all that, not only with Still in Saigon, but the honor and the glory that he gave our veterans, especially from an unpopular war where men gave their lives, not only from being killed. Charlie helped a nation to heal, and did more than anyone else to help heal this nation after Vietnam.

Charlie Daniels .I saw him 4 times. He shook my hand at the lake. Best performer ever and sorrily missed. Peace.😢

Saw CDB numerous times. Never regret one. Awesomeness. My Great Uncle had a lounge and restaurant in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Love ya

Charlie is well appreciated but still underrated as a musician. Can play any type of music or instrument, plus he's an amazing songwriter and singer. Saw the CDB at least a dozen times and was never disappointed. And I'm a heavy metal guy...go figure!

Been a CDB fan for years. As good a fiddle/guitar player Charlie is, I always thought he had a great voice, or at least a great voice for his music. Solid person as well. RIP Charlie

Pull them pants up just under your chin, Strut out there like ya got a pair. Just a bad ass way to live and play. Underated is so overused on YT. But Bruce Ray,Charlie and Tommie Crain as guitar pickers should be the picture in the diction for the word. Some Guitar slingers in my book.
