Charlie Kunz had a style of his own which was unique and inimitable. He was a consummate pianist par excellence but he was lucky that, during his time, there were lots of great songwriters whose great songs he played. Songs we have allowed to slip into oblivion. Many decades have passed since radio stations stopped broadcasting melody on their airwaves. Were it not for the wonder of KZfaq and diligence and dedication of Uploaders there would not be any music to which one could listen. As it is of course, you have to be old enough to know what to search for, otherwise there is nothing. Even middle-aged people today have never heard of Charlie Kunz, never mind the tunes he played. Sad.
