What I also love about this video was how much JK popped off that screen! His visual presence is so MAGNETIC!!! His “acting” in this video but also in how he sang the lyrics was so much fun to see!!! I hope he gets not only a chance to do more mainstream pop solos (if that’s what he wants) but also get into actual acting too! We talk so much about his singing, dancing… don’t get me wrong which are masterful but he’s also an eye-catching actor too!!! Yayyyyy I’m so happy!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩

No, I really think he’s talking about JK. The video kinda implies that Charlie is trying to stop thinking about JK and when he goes “Oh noo” JK sort of materializes out of Charlie’s brain into real space. Like JK is clearly not real but a figment of Charlie’s imagination in the therapy room. Very curious 👀

Yeah all of BTS have really good voices on their own, but JK seems like he was designed in a lab to hit that perfect pop star range. His tone and the general tenor of his voice, and kind of where his pitch tends to rest. He can hit high notes and stuff, and his technique really stands out, but his main singing voice is right at that perfect spot for pop songs, especially Western-US songs. That’s why he and Charlie fit together so easy on this song. Charlie’s like that too and kind of in the same range. There are parts where you can’t tell their voices apart honestly.

My take on this collaboration is that there is no distinction in the timbre of their voice, CPuth & JK are both high pitch. If you notice the BTS is a combination of different notes that makes their song pleasing to the ears.
