A lot of people forget how good an actor he really is. Wall Street and platoon are two great examples. I'd like to see him get a chance to sink his teeth into another good role.

I'm proud of you Charlie! I too struggle with alcohol addiction and I am 3 months sober. It feels great, and even though I crave a drink all the time, being sober feels like putting money in the bank. I'm much healthier just after 3 months and I got a lot of inspiration from stories like and including yours! Keep up the good work!

Something very endearing and assured about people who don't laugh at their own jokes. Big fan of old Charlie, certainly got his father's charisma!

I'm proud of you Charlie! Authentic prayer and fasting is more important than breathing because the Almighty is more real than we are. It is now time to STAY IN THE CHURCH so we can cut a small peace off their cloak and hand leave it with them in the same way that David did to Saul as recorded in 1 Samuel 24 - Then David crept up secretly and cut off a corner of Saul's robe.

As an alcoholic, he not sober
@davegoodwin1848
@davegoodwin1848 Жыл бұрын
I think it's ridiculous that he straight up blamed his behavior and addiction on his two divorces and 4 kids while on Two and a Half Men! First of.. millions of ppl go through divorce. Second...the divorces were HIS fault for cheating, addiction, and abuse. Third...blaming your really good kids for your addiction and actions????!!! Yes he got sober but is still narcissistic, doesn't accept responsibility, and is a piece of crap for blaming his kids.
@marked4death076
@marked4death076 Жыл бұрын
He didn't blame it solely on that, plus let's be honest it can definitely be brutal, and lead to anger issues and drug abuse.
@davegoodwin1848
@davegoodwin1848 Жыл бұрын
@@marked4death076 Your argument doesn't hold water for several reasons. Two big ones are he was already an addict, alcoholic, and had anger issues way before he even got married. Since his teenage years actually. Another reason is there is never....EVER an excuse to blame your kids for your adult choices and behavior. Period.
@marked4death076
@marked4death076 Жыл бұрын
@@davegoodwin1848 he didn't blame his kids tho, he simply said the scenario he was going through did not make things easy, which is true all around, I have 3 kids of my own.....and have dealt with addiction, never divorced thank God, but given what you said, his ex wife got involved with an addict and alcoholic to begin with, takes two to tango and I highly doubt either of them made the process easy
@davegoodwin1848
@davegoodwin1848 Жыл бұрын
@@marked4death076"I went through two divorces and had four children"...sure it's the circumstances BUT he's blaming the circumstances which DO include his kids. From a psychological standpoint just the fact he mentioned them in that means he most certainly blames them. Openly since he said it and subconsciously. (I am a healthcare and medical professional that deals with closely related subjects albeit with disabled individuals). As for his wives "getting involved" it sounds almost like you are saying it's THEIR fault he cheated, abused, and used drugs because they should have known. Seriously? That is the argument you're falling back on to try to win an internet argument with someone you don't know or will never meet? It's that important to you? Did you ever think they got involved because they fell in love with him without knowing the extent of how far he would fall into his habits? I went through a divorce, my wife left for another man, and I have 3 daughters and one son but I never acted how he did. The bottom line is he certainly was at fault, made bad choices, then still blamed it on others even though he had those problems before the aforementioned others were in his life. Those are unchangeable facts.
@marked4death076
@marked4death076 Жыл бұрын
@Dave Goodwin that's alot to take in haha I'd say Charlie has addressed his issues started young, so just based on that fact alone he couldn't completely blame it on his kids even if he made it sound like that, I didn't get that from what he said anyway. And like I said it definitely wouldn't make things easier, so he's not lying. I would agree tho he is always gonna have a narcissistic behavior, simply because he's damn near been famous or in the spotlight since he was born.
