Love how Charlie looks at Coach Van Horn who points to left field. Charlie promptly parks it in the seats . Best Hog athletic moment I can think of. US Reed's shot to save the day used to be it for me, but this is better.

Please. He didn't "point to left field" a la Babe Ruth. He just gave him the green light to swing. And US Reed's shot lives in national lore. Welch's HR was terrific, but it certainly doesn't usurp that. It's not even the best moment of Razorback baseball.

@@sblagg527 No one said he did a Babe Ruth. DVH pointed to the outfield. From the third base dugout that is left field. I totally realize that was a hit away sign. Charlie promptly parked it in the seats. No one said left field seats. Pay attention to details.

@@teetime6792 YOU'RE the one that needs to pay attention to details. Freeze the video @ 58 seconds. In no way did DVH "point to left field" as you keep claiming. It's a double hand gesture to the outfield. That's his swing away sign. Your post makes it sound like Charile "parked it" right where DVH told him to, which makes it sound like some otherworldy accomplishment. PLEASE.

As a Cornhusker fan, this was a crusher but I am proud of what we accomplished this season. Sixth in the big 10 preseason and pushed Arkansas and the best closer I've seen in some time to the very brink. Pulling for the Hogs today. and one more thing, if the Hogs face Texass, beat them please.

I was there. The microphone must have been mounted inside of a pillow. It was MUCH louder in person. That train horn was an actual freight train passing.

It’s still up there, the ISS lost track of it for several months. But as we near the 3 year anniversary they’ve tracked it down. You can see it pass through Orion’s Belt tonight
