Most of the places that Charliebo313 shares with us at least look like maybe they used to be nice, or sort of nice. Not Camden though, even my vivid imagination cannot visualize that place ever being inviting or safe. The thing in that segment that I don't think I've seen elsewhere was the whole "front porch behind bars" architecture. So I looked up incarceration rate for Camden NJ because maybe that sort of thing might be appealing, comforting, or acceptable to certain people. Believe it or not, it's better now than it has been at times in the past, still with over 1,000 people incarcerated per 100,000 population it's about twice the national average of 531/100,000. Still better than the 1,500+/100,000 that it boasted from 1999-2006. So, progress?
@stevea68165 ай бұрын
No BLM and other groups kept harping thst it is racist to jail convicted criminals if they were black so incarceration rate has dropped

And, New Jersey has the highest taxes in almost every category compared to all the states. Even higher than California, New York, and Illinois. You can plainly see what you're getting for your super high tax costs. There is not one decent livable city in all of Jersey. The only safe, livable towns are on the Atlantic coast where property values are between 1 to 25 million bucks.

@CharlieBo3135 ай бұрын
Not familiar with you or your prior comment. I'm assuming you disagreed with that video. There were lots of comments and emails both ways. This video was made to make the point that, the most ghetto (which is a mentality) the worst looking, and the most violent can be different places. They all are related categories and usually the same places will be at the top in all these categories but can be in different order, or the same order. For example, if I did a list of worst looking nationally Chicago is not even in the top 15. If I did a list of most violent Chicago is top 2 or 3 arguably number 1 to most. Baltimore, Philly would be worst looking top 3 or 4 to most. Baltimore in my opinion would rank the highest in all the bad categories combined because they rank high in worst looking, violence, ghetto mentality.
