was the first demo using low drag and the second demo high drag? also I noticed that the switches in the top right were opposite, what effect does this have or does it need to be in that set up to work as shown? (believe its the high/low drop and rad alt / baro}

Thank you for your concise diction. I am tired of hearing British and Australian English flarf on with no concise direction in these dcs tutorials for 65 minutes.

Thank you! I try to do this in the manner I was taught in the military: give you the information you need to operate the equipment (which generally includes background knowledge), demonstrate it, and then off you go. I know there has been a drought from me on these but I am working on some additional ones currently for DCS.

Is there any way in viggen to release one bomb / one wing bombs. Yes I know it is ment to run onetime over and drop all of its payload at once, as design, but is there a way for single ccip? (for like i want to scare out russian navy away, like in mission 2 of viggen campaing ;) )

Change to “IMP” from “Serie” on the weapons panel. If it can drop “individually” that would be how. I’ve never tested with bombs.

I am a little confused by the hud symbology jumping up and down several times during plan bombing. It seemed to start down, then go up, then you pull the trigger, then it goes down momentarily, then back up. It also didn't look like you really followed the steering queue. Can you break that down in more detail?

Hi Machalot - in 2021 I am going to redo all of the Viggen tutorials. Some of the jitter may have been the radar ranging, or the predictive que trying to better project for you.

@@Leadnap Ok, here's what I think is happening. You are below the safety altitude of 200m. When you place the pipper (in "bomb indication" mode) on the target and unsafe the trigger, the pipper moves up to its default position (on the nose) and it gives you a pull up steering direction (which you didn't follow in this case). Then when you pull the trigger, the pipper returns momentarily to "bomb indication" mode basically on target again. When you release the trigger the pipper returns to the default position on the nose. So all that uppy-downy stuff was because you were below the safety altitude.

@@Leadnap Wow..this is an awesome news! I bought the Viggen but never really used it because too awkward and the tutorial were lacking at best. Your videos brought me back in! Really glad you are reviewing them again! Hope it will happen soon! We are mid 2021 :)
