WHAT IS BIG AMBITIONS?
Big Ambitions is a roleplaying business simulator situated in the open-world city of New York. You start the game as a young kid surviving in the big apple. You have big ambitions for money and success, but you're starting with absolutely nothing.
In Big Ambitions, you control a single person in the middle of the bustling metropolis of New York City. Your goal is to achieve financial success in various ways. Starting at the bottom flipping burgers or collecting garbage to eventually owning and running big businesses and real estate throughout the city.
As you progress, you always need to make sure that you're getting enough sleep, keeping up with your health, and making sure your happiness is sufficient. Increasing your capital can be trickier than you think. As you will learn, money can't buy time.

Nightclubs look so cool, but I'd really enjoy owning just a down-to-earth bar in this game. With TVs, a pool table, maybe an arcade machine or two, a stage for karaoke nights 😆

I started playing again today after watching your first video. I had the same lady pop up. I was thinking wow, she's that scared of me opening up one small coffee shop? She was acting like we are Warren Buffett showing buying up everything

Lore wise, she knows Uncle Fred, and therefore knows we come from a family familiar with growing businesses. In a way, she is sorta threatened by the prospect of you being nearby and opening up businesses that compete with hers. ;)

I can't wait to get a few businesses open to see what she has to say, but they have slowed down growth with the rebalancing of the economy. I think it's better in a way

I’m so happy to hear the driving mechanics were improved! Crashing into everything because the cars were so fast and taking half a minute to perfectly park my car so I wasn’t fined was very frustrating for me. Thanks for getting me back into this game lol

1 thing I've seen that could be improved by the devs is having a link to the Bizman Settings page when editing the sign from outside, as that's where you can actually change the logo + colours for the sign. Bit confusing that it seems hidden away from the actual 'edit this sign' menu

Whenever you want really. The payments are super mild and insignificant to progressing in the game, so they aren’t a problem to just let go with those tiny payments. But you can hit the button any time. ;)

Just moved the save from the experimental folder save location to the live save location. The experimental build was identical to release n the day I recorded so it just worked.

I think the car damage has been adjusted. I started new story mode, and driving the car around the block damaged 52%. Those’re pickup truck numbers in previous version.

Yeah, I mean balancing happens all over. I still think it would be cool to have a toggle in the options to up the damage by like 1000% to make it more realistic. - have cars be totaled even… and then charge us for auto insurance per vehicle, taking in a driving score for the cost and everything. Then again, the amount I’ve spent on my new ride (future video), costs basically the equivalent of like 1000 taxi rides. ;)

It looks like you could just have them clean after their shift. Cleaning could be done outside of opening hours, I think?

That’s what I usually do. Most people clean after their shift. Later on, part time cleaners are employed anyways.

Fast food needs constant cleaning. When they develop “clean work environment” demand it’ll need a lot of cleaning during the day

@@chrisgiles5923 it absolutely does not need cleaners 24/7. Cleaning skill refreshes the restaurant in intervals, and your employees will not lose morale for those tiny times where it’s less than full. Clean the place roughly 30-40% of the time you’re open and you’ll be fine, as long as the cleaner is highly skilled.
