WHAT IS NEWS TOWER?
In News Tower, you will follow some of the key moments of the 1930s , but it will be up to you whether to cover and even influence them.
It’s up to your reporters to beat the deadline to get the news while it’s hot. Time is money in News Tower!
Use your reporter’s favorite topics to send them searching for the right news to get it faster, or it might already be old news by the time they return. The more they cover a topic, the more experienced they get , allowing you to sharpen your editorial line.
Search for exciting news across the US and the world that matches your reader’s interest and editorial line.
Will you decide to publish gossip to satisfy your readers' thirst for sensational press, or will you always seek hard stories for the truth?
A lot of news offers different avenues of investigation, unveiling diverse versions of the story. Send your reporter down a path, but be mindful of the risk and rewards of each: poking your nose around the mafia may lead to “offers” that you can’t refuse…
Not everyone is in favor of the freedom of the press…

One thing to keep in mind, you can close the print screen and take all the paper from the toilets and stuff if you need some, it just warns you before unpausing

You had time that Sunday to get paper loaded and get that sports article out that had 30 minutes possibly. If you hand loaded the paper and the sliver of time left would have been worth 30 minutes. I love the series!

What I have started doing is pause right after selecting region and specifically check food and paper and order those on pause before even looking at anything else. So that is first thing at midnight every Monday Morning.

Look on the map. One of the buildings has a hurry up button for stories that can be used on Sunday. From memory, NW of the map

Why don't you move the telegraphing room on the 2nd floor to higher ones and replaces it with typesetting or assembling tables? And from another playthrough I watched, elevator may not worth it as you may have bunch of people waiting for it and waste time

The minus hours to me, seems like how long it takes them to get there. The story was immediately available after travel by plane, where if you took the boat (and cheapest) option, takes longer before they are able to start

Correct.. so you can potentially finish 24 hours sooner because if you took the train you could not start until tomorrow. And as far as the "1 day'" is concerned after you get there.. that is the same for all jobs, it takes 1 day to complete.

If this is the case, the game should have listed someplace how long it would take to get there in the first place. It’s just an odd way of presenting information.

The story just takes longer to do. Instead of the day it says, it probably would’ve taken 2 days to complete. Meaning the reporter will be gone for 2 days

I read it as the boat is the normal amount of time to do the story. The train and plane subtract that amount of time from the total story gathering time.

moving the paper machine up now is a good thing, cuz you didnt have the floor filled out.. But it looks like the machine is a little wider than the angled part.. So having the machine on the lower floor gives enough space for 1 more page machine, but with it on same floor it looks like there isnt enough room now

On the 3 part stories, all the parts have a trash can next to them, can you remove the unfinished part with the trash can icon and print the part 1 and 2?

I'm wondering if putting a toilet on the first and second floor (far right or left) would optimize the queues or at least ppl would take less time to go there?

Hate when those hot topic telegrams drop way late in the week haha, without seasoned sports reporters I don't think taking advantage of that was possible. I found you can cut parts of some big multipart stories out from production, if you ever want to save time on finishing a piece or you have a juicy story but one addition has a tag your hidden agenda forbids
