I really like how you lay out all the ingredients and the tools. I also like how you talk about mixer speeds, mixer times and not over cooking the custard. You're a very good teacher! You answered ALL my questions and then some! You obviously have some commercial baking experience. I've never heard of cake batter or butter extract or putting gelatin in your whipped cream. CHARLIE!! I made this cake for my husband’s birthday this week (was going to try to do the bananas foster cake but I’m scared of the flambé part 😂) and it came out so good!
