I’m a big hornets fan and have been for the better half of 15 years. Regardless of what happened I think Miles has been overshadowed my miscommunications and some poor reporting. Regardless, I’d personally have him on the team, but put him back at the 3, pushing Brandon back to the 2. Allowing us to draft a power forward in the draft. :)

I think they have to bring bridges back off court issues aside he’s really the only guy other than Mark Williams in their starting lineup that can finish at rim consistently miller and ball both still struggle in that aspect of their game bridges provides a balance to the offense and has chemistry with both ball and miller already paying him to be the third/fourth option makes sense would love for them to go for sarr if they get number 1 overall and still bring back bridges the bench is solid already they just need a few depth pieces and starters just have to stay healthy

Reed Sheppard isnt a good fit for us. We got rid of terry rozier because it was clear our ceiling was limited with a backcourt of a small guard and Lamelo, so why would we immediately draft another one. If we pick a two guard it should be Cassell who is a defensive presence that can cover lamelo on that end of the court. Ultimately i think we should draft another wing - mainly because there are better options high up on the board. You guys made the point that another wing conflicts with Bridges but hes currently playing as an undersized 4 anyways. Theres nothing stopping us moving miller to the 2, bridges to the 3 and drafting Risacher, cody williams etc.

Because Shepard has AMAZING advanced defensive stats! It's like the best of any guard.. Think CP3. He's 6'0" but have 7 All-Defensive First teams

@@R_U_Goodno he won’t his defense is insanely overrated look at his on ball off ball splits he has great hands but that’s mainly it, he will be a cone in the league that’s why him or rob didn’t start at Uk and that’s the last thing you need beside Melo

@@Ballknower540 if you look at break down of Kentucky's last game, the dude on the other team was FLAMING them until they switched Sheppard on to him and he only scored after that off of switches or when Sheppard was covering for a teammates poor defense. Also I'd take Risacher too BUT devaluing Sheppard's defensive impact is foolish

Let's say they bring Bridges back, there's been some talk they like Miller at the 2. Melo/Miller/Bridges/Sarr?/Williams If they go to top 2 in lottery. But I think if they bring Bridges back you have to consider scenarios where they play bigger with both and a 4.

I am more in favor of Miller at the 2 and drafting Buzelis to play the 3.

It’s literally so clear that miles will be back next year and you don’t even have to be a hornets fan to see that. I get you don’t like the guy but now your video is shxt bc not a thing y’all said is remotely close to what’s gonna happen irl.

Letting Miles Bridges walk would be asinine. Free agents aren't flocking to be a Hornet. There is no player they could bring in who would be better than Miles Bridges. Then yall want them to draft Reed Sheppard who's a 6'3 combo guard when they already did that experiment with Rozier. IT DIDN'T WORK! 🤦🏿‍♂️👎🏿

You left Seth Curry off your list. You should consult with a Hornets expert/fan. National sports coverage is terrible when it comes to info on this team

Didn't forget. Honestly assumed there would be very little interest in the team picking up his non-guaranteed deal next year for 4M given that he turns 34 over the summer and he dropped off pretty substantially this year.

@GameTheoryPodcastwSamVecenie I would be more surprised if they didn't bring him back. He has strong ties to Charlotte (he wore his dad's number and grew up in Charlotte) the team needs a veteran presence + shooting, and he played quite well for the Hornets before the injury on both ends of the floor

who's this other guy with the Pistons flag behind him? At least try and get someone a little more dialed in with the Hornets

Mark's comments about his back injuries were REALLY concerning yesterday. I wonder if the Hornets would consider someone like Sarr or Clingan bc of that.

are you talking about from his exit interview? Because if so there was no indication we should be concerned.
