If you ever want to do a charging/efficiency test against my Model 3 Performance I can meet you in between Raleigh and Charlotte. It would be cool to see how much of a difference my particular Model 3 has over your Model Y in the 10% out of spec charge test.

Even though the charging curve can be improved on the 4680 battery, it’s definitely a good product still. I only wish we had the option for acceleration boost for the SR as well

@@brandenflasch You’re not wrong - especially when someone can purchase the 2024 Model Y Long Range (including Tax credit, state Incentives, current inventory discounts ) for between $38k- 41.5k (using CT incentive of $4,250 as reference). Very tempting to trade in lol. I still have hope that Tesla can improve the 4680 battery through software updates.

Oof! In contast i just did Tampa to Charlotte in my Model 3. 22mins in Ocala, 9 mins in Brunswick, 14 mins in Yemasee, and 15 mins in Columbia which was an overcharge for getting home.

I didnt pay attention to my recent trip from Atlanta to Orlando. Going from the 6.1 liter v8 hemi i had to my MYP....makes anything way better.😂

I believe tesla recommends to only charge up to 80% to minimize battery degradation.

I would not be comfortable arriving with only 3% SoC. What if there was an unexpected detour, traffic jam, surprise rain storm, or massive head wind? What’s the limit of your comfort zone?

There are a ton of superchargers on this route so if something came up, I had a lot of options to pull off and charge somewhere else.

I really thought the 4680 battery cars would be the best trim. It just seems like they didn’t live up to the hype for anything. They weren’t even that much cheaper. Such a shame.

Still confused why they would design the CT is such a way that they now have to remove bollards and it’s still a tight fit. Really tells me the cyber truck design was not the most thought through by the engineering team. Reinforces the opinion that it was a designed forced on them by Elon and the visual design team

The bollards removals are for both Cybertruck and non-Tesla
