Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

Currently with a guy who can pick me up like I’m nothing. I mentioned being worried about gaining weight because I love when he does it and he wouldn’t be able to do it anymore. He said “if I can’t pick you up anymore for whatever reason it just means I have to go harder at the gym, it’s not your issue”. Liar needs to learn from him

My husband used to crack jokes that he would love me even if I was 300 pounds, that he wouldn't take me anywhere, but would still love me. 19 years into our marriage I suffered an autoimmune disease that spiked my weight. My husband loves me, supports me, and helps me through this difficult time with grace. I'm more hard on myself than he could ever be. He reminds me that part of our wedding vows included "until death due us part" and that everyone knows old people sag and wrinkle beyond recognition, and that I'll need an extra 40 or 50 years to get there because I'm the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. He adds the part where I gave him his greatest blessings in five daughters, who gave him grandkids. Ladies, recognize good men where they are and help them become great men for your legacy!

When my husband and I were dating and started talking about marriage I felt like it was super important to be honest. I told him my mom struggled to have the 2 kids she had, my sister adopted her kids, and I had no clue if I would be able to have kids myself. We discussed if that was a deal breaker for him and it wasnt so we were on the same page about adopting or fostering if necessary from the start. 20 years later, 2 kids and several miscarrages and 2 tubal pregnancies and he is still my rock.

To get over the 13 year age gap, he probably also told her that she's "mature for her age"... I swear this is the first page in the groomer handbook...so many people that have told stories over SM and the few I know in real life that got out of these situations (finally, in some cases) have said that is what their groomer told them...sometimes many times. It makes them feel special and flattered that this mature person thinks they are mature too. Honestly, at 15, I would have fallen for it. I'll be the first to admit that my young self was easily influenced and naïve (maybe also a bit stupid lol).

Yeah I was pretty naive up until senior year, and also called an old soul for my maturity and taste in music. When I saw a friend of mine being taken advantage of by an older guy, I started paying atttention to age. And I was also the cool girl with guy friends. So I also got to experience most of my guy friends confessing to me by end of senior year @@MyLifeMyWay

More like a room full of religiosas brainwashing her. I've actually had a work friend, who invited me to her wedding; she was already dressed dowdily, having to wear a scarf, with long unflattering skirts, and him and his friends just sat and let the women wait on them. The wives never actually sat down the entire "wedding". Don't know why she invited me; I couldn't talk her out of her enslavement by then...

He agreed and I set him up with a great male doctor that listened to him and joked with him and now he has proper heart medication and anxiety meds and he LOVES his new doctor. @@AvaEFFit's a power thing, they think they can force someone to fit the mold of whatever idea they got built up in their head. It's like they can't comprehend that other ppl ARE complete ppl, and see them as NPCs or sth. And tbh sometimes it's raci//sm. My old man thought that if he married a Puerto Rican woman, she'd spend her days barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. But my mom is fiercely independent and a real go-getter, she never wanted to be a SAHM and always worked, and he was never able to change her into what he wanted. 30 yrs on and he's still bitter, complaining about their opposing politics and doing a surprise Pikachu face anytime she points out that his weird bigotry affects HER, as well as the children they have together. By the sounds of it, Erwin met OP, liked her, it come up in conversation with Lucy who got jealous, freaked out and made up said bet, Erwin was like, "whatever, crazy Lucy". So Lucy brings it up now making a big deal out of it because she doesn't want them to get married. So literally not marrying him is playing right into Lucy's hands and giving her what she wants, a shot with Erwin. Dump Lucy and you'll both be happier for it.

OP and Erwin both should go NC with Lucy. If Erwin is willing to do that for the sake of his and OP's potential future together, that's a big step in regaining OP's trust and maintaining his sanity. Otherwise, it's a sign for OP to reconsider the long term stability of her relationship with Erwin. Hopefully they will work through this together - sans Lucy - and come out stronger. 🤞🙂

I don't like that he lied about knowing Lucy. But other than that, I think he reacted appropriately, was honest about not marrying her for a bet, and is earnestly in love with her. But there are some lies he needs to regain trust from. Even if they weren't exclusive the fact that it was her best friend he was seeing during that time is something he should have told her before proposal stage. I'd want to know that my bridesmaid/bff had sex with my future husband BEFORE the wedding.

Lucy is toxic AF. honestly sounds like she was emotionally abusing OP's fiance, and didn't expect him to actually move on with OP. the fact she was willing to hurt her friend in a twisted effort to mess with Erwins head once more, speaks volumes at what kind person Lucy is: 'if you get her to love you, you're worthy of me'. This was no bet. this was an abuser losing control of her victim, and not expecting said victim to actually move on with the friend she wanted to hurt. Hope OP keeps the man, but ditches the 'friend', I'd also find out if Lucy has done anything similar to others because this kind of behavior is not normal.

I still remember my first husband telling me before our wedding that he had been thinking of becoming a priest and was sometimes still conflicted!!! My reply to him was that I was not going to compete with a calling to God and that if he still felt that way we should break up. He said no. In hindsight it was the beginning of his ongoing resentment of anything he felt our marriage (and later, child) kept him from doing - his infidelity with a good friend was the last straw that ended everything. Admittedly, we were both young and stupid and now are happy with others. We have maintained a cordial relationship as parents. The insight came too late to prevent the wedding, though.

I was in the army. I met another WRAC (Women's Royal Army Corps..British army). She was a lesbian and I'm straight and we only had to look at each other to go into howls of laughter, we were both into star wars and nuts. We would go out, I'd chase guys and she would chase girls. I'd never had a friendship like it. The whole predator, rival thing just wasnt there. I got married and she was posted and I never saw her....for decades. I got divorced came home to London and despite her being Scottish, she's here! Married with 2 sons! Who would have seen that coming? Turns out, she was bi and settled for a great guy. We meet up, still make each other giggle and cry with laughter. A friend I've had for...omg...40 years! Yikes!

I had a lesbian best friend once and I loved our friendship because there was never any of that weird female competition that I often run into, and there was so much laughter. Our friendship ended for a different reason - I went into a deep depression and she took it personally when I didn't feel like leaving the house to socialize. If it weren't for that, we probably would have remained friends, but I guess it's a good thing that I found out that she won't stick it out with me during the real moments in life. Anyway, you're so lucky to still have your friend and I hope you both continue to cherish the friendship :)

@erikarussell1142 I don't think it's ego. I think people genuinely don't want to admit that not everyone is nice. Especially when they're with narcissists. The stuff evil people do is so illogical and makes no sense so much it causes some do deny reality. Even though a spade is a spade. Also when they tell other people about the situation sometimes those with other opinions advise them to stay even though all facts point to "NO. RUN!!! DON'T LOOK BACK..."

It breaks my heart when that nice person is trapped… but I’m so glad in this instance, she was able to be surrounded by such a positive support team. Girls need other girls. To lift them up, show them strength, allow them to see their inner worth. Is beautiful when women don’t compete with women.

Y'all, there are people out there - therapists, ministers, independent officiants, who offer premarital counseling. I don't care how long you've been dating or living together - DO IT (counseling). My spouse & I just celebrated 28 years married, and I think a lot was settled early because we'd already talked about all the tough stuff (finances, illness, sex & family, etc). And no, we who offer counseling are NOT judging you and whether or not you should get married. It is purely for bettering your communication and discussing the tough stuff you either don't feel like talking about on a "regular" day, or a topic that is best discussed with a neutral 3rd party to stop any arguments and keep things progressing.

All that time he talked about how much he loved my spirit, my authenticity and so on. The first time we went to visit someone from his family he asked me “are you wearing that?” Granted, I am a very feral woman 😂. I cut/rip all my shirts & have a mo-hawk. Think of MadMax & punk 80’s in general. But I always look like this, 24/7 and when I share things on social, I look like this. His family knows exactly what I look like and how I dress now, it wasn’t like they were going to be shocked. If anything most people get shocked when I dress normal 😂. That was the beginning of the end. Don’t tell me you love my authenticity and then try to tame me! But he was exactly like this & im just thankful I got away. It hurt like hell, I’m still in love with him, but the healing I’ve done since I cut him off is just undeniable & I do hope he finds his way in life eventually ❤.

Is that you in your pfp? Because you are beautiful… I don’t blame you. Throw the whole man out. So sorry my friend. That is painful and hard. ❤

You dodged a bullet. I did not dodge a bullet and I can confirm that if yours is like mine, yours was out to do all sorts of things like destroy who you are, turn you into a stepstool to lift himself up, and try to absorb who you are through osmosis. Assuming my hunch is right, yours and mine are predators out to take from others what they don't have in themselves. Like authenticity. 🥴😵

'Liar" said that he thought she had time to change her mind on things like having children and becoming Christain. He knew, and remembered, her feelings on all of the mentioned items. In this case 'ghosting' would be appropriate.

Agree. I've always been 100% certain I didn't want kids. Can't imagine some man assuming I would change my mind. I'd ghost him.

Sociopaths do that. They lie. They lie about lying. But they'll always out themselves if one pays close attention, or patiently wait. He's a sociopath.
