Hello, sweet friends and welcome to another video. Today, we are working on deep cleaning and organizing my kitchen. Once or twice a year, I try to go through each and every cabinet to get rid of anything I am not using anymore and to reorganize the contents. I am looking forward to working my way through my pantry as well as my refrigerator in an upcoming video. Hopefully, I will see you there! XO - Tiffany

Hi Tiffany, what a nice job! They sure don't make appliances to last anymore. My 1998 Whirlpool Accubake stove is still going strong after 26 years and my whirlpool (no frills) fridge is still going since 2007, 17 years! Believe it or not, my parents 1960 Westinghouse stove outlived them both! Glad you are continuing to do well!! 💗

Good morning sunshine! I wish I had your energy and I didn't even have surgery! 😂🤣😂 You always amaze me Tiffany with your energy and your enthusiasm to push through and get things done. I'm so sorry you had to purchase a new refrigerator so soon. Appliances are disposable now! Cheaper to purchase a new one than to repair. Shameful! Tiffany you look great! They don't make things like they used to. We had our fridge for maybe a year and had to replace some circuit board. I don't remember my parents ever replacing our refrigerator or other appliances growing up. Anyway you've motivated me to get going in the kitchen. And yes, you are correct with the bottom drawers. Love the brick.

I purchased the Viking set of stainless steel. Boy was it a learning curve! My kids struggled in the beginning but now they love them! Bars keepers friend goes a long way 😂. Trying to live a more non-toxic lifestyle.

Your kitchen is gorgeous! Yes, the brick backsplash pulls it all together. You are already organized, but enjoyed watching your thought process. I have found a clear lazy susan with sides are amazing to see everything with just a spin! They work in the bathroom too. I think the trash can drawer just needs a new soft close track. Thank you for the motivation to tackle my kitchen!

I absolutely love your kitchen! My kitchen would fit in there at least three times!! I do have three pantries now. The small one that was the original pantry. I turned the front hall closet into a pantry for my large canning pots and small appliances by putting in a free-standing shelf. Since I'm a widow, I don't use all of my ginormous master closet, so I bought two smaller sets of shelves that fit under the closetmaid wire shelf. I use that space to store the jars of food I can.

I totally agree with all drawers in lower cabinets!!! Besides my silverware type drawers I have 2 large drawers under my stove top and 2 lathers drawers under my wall oven which is up high. Makes a huge difference. However, if you can’t afford all those drawers or have existing kitchen with no very little drawers I suggest getting baskets and putting g them in the lower cabinets to easily slide in and out so nothing is way in the back! That has really work for me. 💜👍💜👍💜

We finished our kitchen a few weeks ago and went with the drawers after hearing you! I love them! So much easier to get things out put away see….why isn’t this done as standard!?! We had pull out shelves prior but you lose so much space with the slide! Thank you for mentioning the drawers a few times and I listened! I have a lot of spices as well…. I can’t downsize any of the ones they are all loved and used.

I tend to declutter and clean, as I go.... otherwise I also get stressed out, over one huge cleanout day! I just got rid of my BreadMaker...that I bought during the 'you know what days'.... I just don't bake bread, and the kiddos are all moved out now...and we are trying to limit our carbs! Save the runner! Would look great at Christmas on your table!

Tiffany we purchased a piece of plastic guard for across our garbage can drawer. It has helped with the scratches tremendously! I think my kitchen is a constant battle & the pantry has to get reorganized every 3 months. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks for the inspiration to sort through my kitchen. My 28 year old .refrigerator went to metal heaven this week too. The new one got delivered yesterday. Today my 27 year old dryer stopped drying. While you are sorting out coffee mugs I am sorting out appliances.

My son works for Ferguson and he said appliances are only made to last 7 years now, it's crazy! Nice job, I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Always something when you own a house. We just had AC and furnace replaced. New fence around pool next week and new roof in the Fall. Cha ching, all big ticket items, ugh! Oh well, it all needs to happen. ❤

My parents just bought a new refrigerator, only the 3rd one they have ever bought in their 50 years of marriage. The Appliance store salesperson told them that refrigerators lasts at best 5 years now. What?!? How can we be so advanced but yet so far behind….

Love your kitchen , it’s the perfect layout. Can’t wait for your pantry redesign video.😊 For your tablecloths/runners I would store them in a basket in the cabinet. It would just make it easier to pull out the whole basket to get the one you want.❤

I really need to do this with the cabinets in my dining room. My kitchen cabinets are the same all the time. But I have upper and lower cabinets along the wall in my dining room. There is a lot of junk I can get rid of in them. I was so happy to have cabinets left when I got done filling my kitchen cabinets I filled the ones in the dining room with a lot of the junk I had left. I have been wanting to go through them for months. Now you may have given me the motivation.

Can you link the cheese slicer/shredder? I LOVE your kitchen. I told my hubby that if we ever remodel our kitchen, I want it like yours. If you have to wash dishes, what a view to do them by.

Hi Tiffany! I just recently found you on KZfaq. I love your home and flower garden! We are about to begin the process of building our forever home. My dream has been to have an over grouted brick backsplash. But I have recently heard and read that they can be more difficult to keep clean and can stain from splatters while cooking. We tend to cook a lot of tomato based foods. And I am teaching our 11 & 12 year olds to cook as well. I’ve also heard that the mortar can flake off onto the countertops when you do clean the backsplash, which causes another mess. Have you had issues with stains or the mortar? I would love your feedback. Praying you heal fully this summer!

I have the same style fridge and my ice maker has never worked correctly! It is moody and works when it wants. But the entire fridge just started doing the same thing yours did so we have a new one coming Saturday. 😤

Odd to keep the drinking glasses so far from the fridge, when you have a cabinet right next to it. Might want to move oven mitts closer to the oven too. You'll be amazed at what a little efficiency does to a space that you use so much. Great video, thanks!
