Ashley reminds me of Tiarra from Love and hip hop. Scrap's babymamma. She keeps Scrap on a short leash using the simple sentence, "you will never see your son again". And when he hears that and has a flashback of his childhood trauma living without their dad around and their family broken up, he immediately thinks about his son having the same experience and stays with her despite not wanting to be with her. Also doesn't help that both those men have long periods where they financially rely on their babymammas. It's homelessness driving the relationship as well.

Yes! I thought the same thing when he walked in and went to give her a kiss. Their vibe was nice and had he not been trying to play both sides with Ashley, he and Charmaine probably could’ve really had something. Glad they’re both happy in their relationships now though.

I am alot like Charmaine as far as being raised. Charmaine parents remind me of my grandparents and aunt and uncle who raised the family. Everyone's pretty successful except me but it's okay I'm glad Charmaine got her happily ever after.
