Me too , I watch and re watch it on Netflix as soon as I finish season eight I start all over again . I saw bits of the reboot first episode and thought AH HELL NO!!! BIG THUMBS DOWN . No substitute for the original.

Good acting is an understatement. She was living that moment. There was no show, just a mother discovering her son. One of my fav scenes of the whole show because that reason.

the reveal of Chris to Piper and later Leo was some of my favorite moments in this series. Holly especially killed it in this scene. I'll never understand why she was bumped to 3rd billing after Shannon left because she truly carried the series.

The final billing is actually the coveted spot. "And starring ______" is something actors negotiate into their contracts.

Hehe - she´s there for a split second i think. when they all write their story in the book. you can see phoebe on her way to the hospital, pregnant. billie babysitting the first two daughters. paige´s son and twin girls and piper & leo with wyatt, chris and melinda at the front door :)

Melinda is also in the comics, which are considered canon. Even though she was conceived while Leo was a mortal, Melinda is still half Whitelighter half witch just like her brothers.

That's what I love about storylines like these. The main characters don't trust this guy from the future because he's keeping things to himself and does some shady things, but the moment they find out he's related to them, all mistrust for the character disappears and is replaced by unconditional love, and they start treating him like he would be a small child, despite being the same age. I love those storylines.

@@Domihork That's not what happened. It wasn't just instant love. After learning who Chris was, they then find out why he actually came here. And so all the mistrust is gone and is replaced with unconditional love. If they learned who Chris was and found out he was up to something evil then they wouldn't have that same relationship.

Yeah, it always guts me how crappy they treat him. It would be immensely worse if they knew he was their son but it’s still heartbreaking the things they do, and say to him, before finding out.

Agree to an extent. S6 has always been a personal favorite of mine. It is the most complete story with a definite beginning and ending. However, there are a lot of really bad episodes in S6, especially before you get to Chris-Crossed, which is definitely the turning point of the season. I agree that it is too bad the whole Gideon arch didn't last longer. Magic School may have been a Harry Potter rip off, but so what? I really dug it. The whole time when they knew Chris was their son, Magic School, Gideon working behind their backs as the secret bad guy, was a great time but too short. The ending of S6 is fantastic though. Best season ender until the series ender.

I was thinking the same thing both Piper and Leo didn't spend a bonding time with Chris after finding out of his true identity. I love all seasons but maybe I didn't like season 8 that much because Billie and Christy were very annoying specially Billie obsessing with finding Christy and in the end it wasn't worth it because she was evil and she manipulated her and has to kill her in self defense when Christy tried to do so for taking the Charmed ones side at the end.

s6 was my no1 fav season. Truly the one with my most heart. Made my heart heavy and cry. Epic

I think the wacky episodes balanced out the more heavier episodes. The main thing the show had going for it was that even if it was a heavier episode there was still humor in it most of the time to keep it light and airy and it felt very natural with the family aspect of it.

Same loved this season definitely think its one of the more underrated seasons. Alot of people's complaints are off a bit. Like the magic school thing. It's not a Harry Potter rip off. There were magic schools before potter. Like in the worst witch books.

And... half of the worlds probably too. Paige is a red-head and neither are her parents.

Actually Paige's hair is naturally dark brown, like her sisters. It only turned red because a spell backfired.

RitaMej To be fair Piper and Leo didn’t know and Chris was so hell-bount on making sure that Wyatt didn’t turn Evil he forgot all about himself until it was almost too late then he finally told Phoebe that he is Piper and Leo’s son! I wish he had told Phoebe and Paige earlier so they could have told Piper sooner. I feel like they ended his storyline way too early with Piper knowing that he is her son. I love the whole (Adult) Chris storyline a lot especially when Phoebe, Paige and finally Piper and Leo found out! I wish the (Adult) Chris storyline lasted longer!

There was an episode back in season 2 where prue gets turned into a man and i swear to god s/he was the spitting image of chris in that episode.

straydoggio um, what are you talking about? Chris DIDN’T tell Piper his mom died at all. “Hyde School Reunion” was the first time he mentioned HIS Piper at all, so that’s a lie. Piper is always sympathetic except to her enemies. Leo didn’t “fall off” any Whitelighter anything, he left them to become an Elder and only worried about raising Wyatt because he was Twice Blessed. What Charmed are you watching, Chris explained that in episode “Spin City”.

@@babe6835 His grandad berated Future-Chris for treating Piper like she doesn't exist, and an upset Future-Chris reveals to his grandad, "Because she doesn't exist in my future, okay. She dies when I turn four." Later with Grandad and Piper present, while he's very tight lipped, it does accidentally let slip that something happens to her, and it's clearly serious. It's a fascinating timeline, because she did die for Original-Chris when he was four, and he grew up without her; without love of Mommy Piper. However Future-Chris going back in time, changes course of destiny so she went on to be his mommy for a long time, till she grew very old. Also it was great because Piper had absolutely no clue that Future-Chris was her son, and she got to know him, respect him, and treat him like a nice friend. Only to later a big reveal learn he was her son, and be amazed, and proud, and decide to fight hard for everything.

@@babe6835 Oh I see what you mean. Future-Chris did tell Piper that he grew up without a Mom, and she was pretty cold about it. He was trying to explain that things were very bad in future, but she was roll-eyes about this 'bad-future'. This was all before Piper realized that she was his Mom; therefore the Mom Future Chris had talked about was HER!!!

Yeah "it all makes sense" somehow even though they didn't even know that they would make Chris their son!

"Elder" is a job title that comes with a bit of power to back the position but he's still just a whitelighter. Like a King is still just a man but his position gives him more power to balance his authority.

I persume because he(wyatt) was born between the time where magic was in disarray. He in a way brought magic back to the world and that is why he is more powerful. While chris just half whitelighter and witch which could still be considering powerful but not with the hole powers inside the womb like Wyatt.

There was a whole host of reasons. Wyatt was born on a witches sabbath, the first child is always the strongest, like Prue was, then Piper. Magic literally went down for 24 hours before he was born, and he had Charmed power on top of all this. Although Paige was stronger than Phoebe, but she had the whitelighter boost too, and telekinetic orbing, regular orbing, healing and sensing are just better powers than anything they gave Phoebe.

Leo’s children are half white lighter for the reasons already listed but here’s a distinction that hasn’t been made. More white-lighter’s can be made but the elder power is usually passed from one elder to his successor. Leo earned the power during a time when many of the elders had been killed. That’s why Chris didn’t try to stop the attack. The elders had to die so that Leo could earn that power. So that it could choose him so to speak. Therefore Chris can only inherit the white lighter power. Another possible reason that hasn’t been discussed, Wyatt was born in the manor on top of the nexus. I wouldn’t be surprised if that played a small role in his power boost. Also the Chris that came from the future isn’t fully like the Chris conceived in season six. It’s because he meddled with things that Leo even became an elder. Future Chris’s father was likely still a simple white lighter. So if he was to get a power boost because Leo was now an elder, then it would be the baby version and not him. Future Chris wouldn’t have the boosted powers until he went back to the future and time caught up with him. Though seeing how there were the major differences in Piper’s pregnancies, I’m going to believe there wasn’t any difference between the two Chris’s power level. It certainly didn’t seem like it when he appeared in the finale.

Thats one point why i find this series so powerful. to be strong despite all of those facts, possibility. trying to go your way.
