This trip begins at the interchange of Tilghman Street and PA 309 in South Whitehall Township, to the west of Allentown. The trip then continues eastward going the entire length of Tilghman Street in Allentown and it gives a very good look at the appearance of different Allentown neighborhoods. At 14:10 the trip turns onto Front Street, the construction project seen is the replacement of the Tilghman Street Bridge which was built I believe in the 1920s. The trip turns onto the American Parkway and at 15:30 on the right side is Coca Cola Park, the home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, the Phillies AAA affiliate. Coca Cola Park is a great minor league ballpark, superb food selection and AAA games are fun and not all that expensive. The trip then loops around to Congress Street and Airport Road on the East Side of Allentown. At 27:00 the trip goes past Lehigh Valley International (LVI) Airport on the left. At 29:00 the trip turns on to Schoenorsville Road which is the boundary between Lehigh County (Allentown and West Bethlehem) and Northampton County (rest of Bethlehem and Easton). Lastly starting at 30:00, the high rise building seen looking straight ahead was the Martin Tower which was the headquarters of Bethlehem Steel from the late 1960s until the company went out of business in 1995. The Martin Tower was demolished by a controlled explosion (implosion) in May 2019.
