Exactly what I’m thinking of…🥶 She and the kids have lots of problems with the cold🥶weather this evening… It’s hard too singing and even trying to talk in -15 degrees.🧊❄️🥶🧊❄️ I recommend that you listen to the version from the studio. Molly Sandén is one of Swedens best singers. Hope you can listen to other’s songs she singing and she singing on princess-wedding after the ceremony. Molly is an amazing singer and I don't think anything she does is an accident or not intentional. You should listen to the studio version they use in the movie where she ends on an amazing held whistle note. Goose bumps for sure. :)

Molly has been going since her young teens and she is an incredibly clever vocal artist- as i guess you noticed in the later part of this song. She has an amazing clarity to her voice and is cleverly using emotion, vocal fries etc to enhance it. Clever, clever girl :)

also she didnt know Icelandic she practiced the lyrics in Icelandic before her recordings and performances (there is a behind the scenes when she practiced :) ) also its bit magical how the northern lights show on the sky towards the end :)

When she was in Los Angeles 2 different managers told her to loose weight if she wanted them to work with her. This was done in a room filled with men and she was the only female. She felt so angry about it and said that her thought "if i only had a pizza here so she could eat it infront of them". Thats was when she decided that this opportunity with others defining how she was to look like and so on was over and then she went home.

Molly has this ability to stylistically sing short phrases - as if she’s talking. Somehow it isn’t vocally damaging because she knows exactly what she’s doing. She knows her own instrument! I think she’s trying to mix it up by starting soft & intimate & moving into more powerful singing. Like you said, building the drama! 🤗 Molly is by far one of Sweden’s best singers ❤️

Please, keep in mind this was recorded in Husavik in near freezing conditions. The mist you see is not from a machine, it came drifting from the sea. I guess that would impact every musician who has to perform in those conditions.

Thanks for listening and reacting on this. 😊 We are proud of our Molly here in Sweden🇸🇪!😊😉 But as I wrote in a another comment, it was Very Cold 🧊❄️🥶❄️🧊that evening. She and the children had problems to even speak in the -15 degrees. It’s on Iceland🇮🇸in “Husavik”. Molly traveled just for this event this time, in this cold weather.🥶 I recommend you to listen to her doing this song in a studio and I also recommend you to listen to other songs she has done. She is really talented and amazing.❤

Wow, this felt so random. I didn’t even know she sang in that movie or was at the Oscars. Molly Sandén is very famous here in Sweden. She represented Sweden at the Junior Eurovision Songcontest when she was 14 and sounded great even then. She usually doesn’t sing my kind of style of music but I can’t deny she’s got an incredible voice.

Hilarious movie, the music is incredible and wonderful nod to Eurovision and a gorgeous hug to Iceland!! Don't forget that she is singing this AT THE ARTIC CIRCLE in WINTER. It is really cold at the time she is singing, lol! But she didn't sing the speorg note during this performance, lol.

Hi chase and melia I just wanted to say that ive been applying youre notes to my voice lately and im noticing huge differences suddenly its not that hard to go high and it doesn't even feel so tiring anymore and i also tried the sing like you speak thing and dude i didn't expect it to soud like that it sounds even better and way more powerful than when i try so hard By this i experienced the freedom that yall always talk about Thanks you guys so much you help me alot with your videos i love guys ❤ Edit: sorry if my English is bad

Good to come back to your videos! This is the content I subscribed to your channel for: your technical analysis and teaching moments. I also noticed the glottal attacks in the chorus and it had an effect but it ain’t easy on the voice over time.
