Chase takes the high road and doesn’t allow the media to create controversy based on his comments. He’s cool under pressure & a class act on and off the track.

To be fair I don't think Ross did things intentionally to wreck people. He is just making moves that are causing wrecks or damaging cars. And doing it at wrong times of a race.
@ethanweeter27322 жыл бұрын
And drivers have a right to be upset getting wrecked before stage 2 is even done.
@billtmarchi43202 жыл бұрын
@@ethanweeter2732 ya butbif you ban everyone who gets wrecked and gets angry , who hasn't done the same exact things wrecking other drivers ,from getting angry. Then know one would be allowed to get mad and angry. Bunches hamlin keseloski logano and a dozen other drivers have all wrecked others doing the same wreckless driving. Only person who never wrecked anyone else is Jeff Gordon.

I think fans care a little less if it is the final 100 miles maybe, but stage 1-2 with nothing on the line is dumb. I mean, learn to make it to the final 100 miles before wrecking people.

Racing is racing. No driver can race for 3-4 hours without pissing someone off period. it's just racing. if any driver can't take it or gets butt hurt he needs to find a new line of work.

I think drivers could understand it being the final stage more, but stage 1-2 is a goofy to be wrecking people or racing them like it is the last lap.

I don’t know what happened to Chase this weekend but he’s seemed like a completely different person. When Mikey caught up with him during the grid walk he just seemed a lot more peppy and casual than usual. Usual he’s all business and professional. He was cracking jokes and just seemed loose. He seems the same way here. Kind of she’d the typical “deadpan” persona. I like it.

@@ryannichols8315 Do some research on Chase when he was going through the ranks as a kid/teenager he was dominant and caught the eye of Hendrick/JR. Bill couldn't fund him in Nascar. Also Chase has been top 5 most consistent drivers in the past 5 years. He's got talent. Yes it's cool to see the drivers that don't come from a racing lineage but even those guys come from family money or selling a gimmick. AKA smashing the watermelon.

You cannot driver every lap balls to the wall at that level. The car won’t take that kind of abuse for 500 miles even today. Why do you think Chase always has car left at the end of a race, as do many other drivers? They take care of equipment at key points. Dale Sr learned to calm down at times to make sure his car got the finish.

had the car but not the crew, as usual
@616390932 жыл бұрын
well if you look at Stats. his crew has been near the top every race. obviously there is some kind of issue with single lug. remember old tire had five lugs glued to each set of tires. when the tire came off so did lugs and new ones went on with new tire. they are using same lug every stop. with the RPMs these guns produce it is very possible that with the speed it comes off then back on. it could be slightly either stripping or cross threading just the smallest off margins that is causing the issue.. to many tires coming off for there not to be an issue.
@zachsmith90332 жыл бұрын
@@61639093 they consistently fuck up every week..... Wether it's terrible strategy, poor execution at pivotal times in a race. This crew needs to get it together because they have taken at least 20 chances at a race win away in the past 3 years. Gustafson should be fired to start.
