When Dimash appeared in 2017 on the Chinese program "I'm a Singer" (with more than 500 million views in that country), some producers had the idea of launching the artist for the American market with a more acceptable style in that market. Dimash did not speak English and sang phonetically (hence the irregular pronunciation) and was also not involved in the production. After the immense worldwide success with other songs such as "Sinful Passion", "Olimpico and "Love Like a Dream", Dimash had already founded his own production company and was free from the constraints of the mainstream, producing and recording what he wanted and experimenting with various styles and crossovers! Currently, this song "Screaming" is used in his shows as a fun part of interaction with the audience, where he added a new arrangement and a RAP section in the Kazakh language!

Please don't just be influenced by the sound effects. Dimash is the whole package. In this song, the piano, drums, backing vocals are also Dimash. The content of songs often has a hidden meaning, some motivating information or a historical message. Dimash makes people think about different things and everyone has a chance to interpret the song in their own way. According to your own life experiences and according to your own sensitivity and imagination. Dimash often leaves the ending questionable so that everyone can add their own ending in their own imagination

Besides his native Kazakh tongue. He speaks fluent Russian, which is still an official language in most former Soviet Republics. Dimash is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin, which he says is a challenging language to learn. I never call out someone else's ability, when most of us only speak one language.

Dimash's concert performances of Screaming contain a lot of improvisations and each time he does it differently. He sometimes does staccato and other high notes, and he also raps. But Dimash isn't just about vocal range and he doesn't display it in every song. There is much more to Dimash than that, he is a story teller who heals souls, and his vocal technique is amazing in every range. It is a pity if range is all you are interested in.
@DQdearH5 ай бұрын
Well said, DiaLinwen. Dimash himself doesn’t like people reducing him to his range only. His main intention is to distract his audience from daily routine, to take them to a mental escape. He doesn’t sing to just show off. He sings whatever he thinks is suitable and necessary or just beautiful in that particular song. Of course, his tool box is so much more than a normal one. His story telling is one of a kind. He IS so much IN every song, feels every single word and is a master in making you reflect every single emotion he has. His hands are so eloquent, his whole body language and aura are most impressive. I know what I may sound like to somebody who does not share the full Dimash experience. I am 58 years of age. In my whole life I have never been a fan of anybody until I came across Dimash. I am a dear (that‘s how Dimash calls his fans) with all of my heart. @nicevinci_dear4 ай бұрын
This song was in 2017. At this time he spoke (almost) no English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. All the English songs he sang phonetically. But the most important thing is, we love his Dinglish (Dimash-English). Dimash is fluent in two languages. Russian and his native tongue Kazakh. His English is also very good and he is constantly improving it. He also knows and understands a few words and sentences in Mandarin. In the meantime he can sing in about 16 or 17 languages, but he also does it phonetically. Screaming is a must at any of his concerts. He usually sings this song at the end and introduces each member of his band to the audience. There he always fights a drums duel with his percussionist Ilya Pokrovskiy. And he also tries to get down from the stage to the audience when his bodyguards aren’t careful enough😂. But he sings it in the version of Idol Hits. Please also react to Screaming Idol Hits any time soon. It’s from 2017 in China. You will be surprised. But of course even he can't sing the song and the backvocals on the same time😊🤔 Screaming Idol Hits: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i6iXqMh4yc3MZJs.html Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mtGAhpmlnZrVl2g.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Dimash is the most gifted vocal artist in the world and has nothing to prove to reactors, but The Story Of One Sky (music video) is considered his masterpiece. 13 minutes long, and took him 3 years to compose all the vocal and instrumental parts. He wrote the screenplay, acted in it and performed the vocal narrative (in sorry, not perfect) English. This stunning short film delivers a serious message to the world. ❤

Mmm... Most people actually say the video is incredible. By people I mean reactors, vocal coaches, directors, singers, actors, producers. "My problem is that this song started like a normal song"... So... What you do with most music? Most music is "normal music".
@starshine35884 ай бұрын
Yes….because most reactors lie and only give praise to get views for their videos. Only reactors who tell what they don’t like about something are honest. This song is very bland compared to the many other songs Dimash sings. Watch Utopia by Forestella and Screaming by Dimash right after each other and it’s easy to see and hear which is better…and Screaming doesn’t even come close…it’s very bland. Dimash has much better songs than Screaming….and at least these reactors gave their honest opinions instead of lying to get more views. If all you expect is constant praise then you’re not expecting honesty from a reactor…..and that’s just sad.

Dimash sings in more than a dozen languages, he speaks 3, plus learning a 4th, what more do you want? Why is English the only one that counts? His accent adds flavour in my opinion. He writes, composes, plays multiple instruments, sings in all sorts of styles, models, acts, owns his production company, & is a great polite, & respectful humanitarian. Then there's his university degrees in music..... Rather picky on your part.

How many languages do you speak ??? This man sings in 15 languages by now, which he has to learn by heart, including Mandarin, Japanese, Italian and Spanish, live on stage. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and Uzbek (?). His English is fast improving; it’s hard to learn a language when your mother tongue is in Cyrillic script. Americans still seem to live in a bubble of language supremacy and world dominance, while generally speaking only one themselves and not having travelled beyond their borders. One of Dimash’s mission is to unite different cultures for peace with his music. I’ve studied, worked and lived in the US for 13 years and loved it. I don’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings but watching reactions from Europe these days, I’m struck by some Anglo Saxon reactors harping on about his English and prononciation. Dimash speaks one language par excellence - it’s called music and he sings it like a god, or angel, and it touches over a billion of his fans, and growing exponentially. Your petty comments about his language make you sound parochial and ruin your otherwise good reaction. This Kazakh superstar is of an unparalleled sophistication on every level (besides the beauty and perfection of his voice, fashion sense, charm, charisma, dramatic performance skills, filmmaking and acting skills, he is a composer and multi instrumentalist). But most of all, he is a beautiful spiritual and humble young man who has shunned the music industry on his way to world stardom to safeguard his artistic authenticity. Quibbling about his English seems unwarranted in the face of his mindblowing achievements. None of the voice coaches/specialists ever get hung up on his accent, they’re too impressed by his inimitable vocal artistry🙏🏽. PS US and UK population combined is about 400 million. Dimash’s fan base worldwide is roughly 1.2 billion. Perfect English does not seem to have been a sine qua non for his ascent.
@diarchos50194 ай бұрын
This is lightweight pop for Dimash. He really didn’t speak much English back then when he was around 22 - he learnt lyrics phonetically. He turned 29 last May and his English has improved dramatically - he still has an accent when he sings in English and I guess if you two were to sing in Kazakh (Dimash’s native tongue) or Russian, which he speaks fluently, or in any of the other 12 languages he sings in then I would imagine your American accent would affect your pronunciation of lyrics. This isn’t a criticism of you but just a point of logic and observation. That said, I look forward to more Dimash reactions - try Stranger, Ave Maria, Ikanaide, Across Endless Dimensions, Know, Passione. Dimash’s own compositions El Amor En Ti and his masterpiece The Story of One Sky (his brilliant 13 minute MV or his live Almaty concert version. 🙏🇦🇺

That mv is a few years old. His English has improved great,y since then and also the quality of his mv’s. Try Stranger, from New Wave 2021, It is in English also. But please don’t expect the dramatic high notes at the beginning of his songs, after all, you want climax. Anyway, his soft whispery singing is, apparently, very hard to do and vocal coaches are very impressed with that. Some of my favourite Dimash songs are where he doesn’t use ANY high notes, but are so beautifully and emotionally sung. O.K, which has a great mv, or Quaragym-ai, or Amanat are examples and none of them are even in English.

We don't go see Dimash because we expect high notes. Yes I've been to a concert, going to another later this year. We go because we love his him and his songs, and Dimash doesn't sing the song like the studio version when it's live. So it changes every time he sings it. Sometimes he does the high notes, sometimes not. You guys need to listen to a live performance, it will surprise you. As for not liking the music video, that's fine. Its him by himself in a studio, it's basic. If you want to see a Music Video where Dimash actually had a say in? Check out Love of Tired Swans, Okay, The Story of One Sky, Be With Me. Lots of input from Dimash. Hell you want to see a very youg Dimash with his first MV for one of his first original songs at 19 yrs old? My Beauty. Its on his channel. As for his English, this was 2018.......he didn't speak any English except, hellos and thank yous. So for someone without the working knowledge of the language, he did well. He still has an accent when he sings English language songs now, it's part of his appeal.

Thank you for your honest reaction. I found it surprising, however, that in a 4 minute song you felt that the song was lacking because the ‘fireworks’ weren’t introduced in the first 30 seconds. If you continue to react to Dimash you will find that he often starts low and slow and builds to his explosive vocals, though he has many extraordinarily beautiful and intricate songs that do not have the flashy fireworks at all (Ikanaide, Samaltau). He has said that his range is a tool he uses as the song demands. Anyway, there are many songs that showcase his range and prowess that you may enjoy (Stranger, Sinful Passion, Know, Story of One Sky, El Amor en Ti).

Olimpico will be my request. It is listed with Dimash and Igor Krutoy. It has Dimash encircled with "stars". It is the best Olimpico performance. It is in Italian, so maybe you can look at the lyrics first. It was written for the second Olimpic European games. It is inspiring, uplifting, powerful. It shows his range and is Full of Energy! I think his most important song is The Story of One Sky. He composed it and wrote the script for the MV. He also acted in it. It took three years. I think you might want to see some other Dimash songs first. Maybe not. It is in imperfect English, and is Very serious.❤

I don't want to hurt your feelings but back when this video was created, Dimash was creating with an international mindset and not truly understanding the Americain pysche.😔 He has recently lived in the USA so he now understands that Americans, in general, have the shortest attention spans on the planet and therefore has adapted his compositions to reflect this. This is very evident in his 2 latest songs which we are waiting to be officially released. Sadly, most of his music is presented in a story telling style , not in the "get to the kill shot in 3 seconds or less" style. Some songs do have elements that might help to hold your attention at the beginning like unusual instruments in Samatau, Hello, and Stranger. There are also some with over the top stages so you can focus on the elaborate stage dressings until the vocal acrobatics warm up. Eg. Joined Hands, Jasmine, Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance.🌹 Or maybe some artistic dance to capture your attention like Be With Me MV, Know MV, or Love of Tired Swans MV. Best wishes on your music journey.❤ 🥰🥰🇨🇦

I lived in a few countries, including the US. In every country and part of the world there are people with short attention span and people (usually a minority) who appreciate more elaborate storytelling. There is no less high level music in the US than in other countries. Who do you think listens to him in Russia? Or in Europe? Or even in Kazakhstan? Americans are no different than anybody else. Dimash in general is not an artist for the masses. The reason he writes songs in different styles is because he loves all kinds and genres of music and wants to try everything, not because of his location or trying to please a certain kind of fans.

@@DiaLinwen Of course, there are Americains capable of delayed gratification. If not, the birth rate would be a lot lower. I said ...In General. I was not talking about different styles of music, I was refering directly to what these guys were talking about. Composition that includes a hook in the first few bars. I agree that the short attention span is increasing world wide but invariably if a reacter gets impatient because "it takes too long" to get to Dimash through the cloaks in the opening of Stranger, .. guarenteed to be from the USA. Dimash comes from a part of the world where the cultures stress the capacity to wait. Not so in America.

I would rather have sincere reactions than interesting, any way Dimash is the main attraction lol. Unless you can speak another language one should not critique those that are learning. he speaks , Russian, Kazakh and now English He can sing in 14 languages!! he plays 7 instruments. This video he had no control over, he has his own production company and is personally involved in all aspects of the music, stage and effects.He is so much more than high notes.

I have watched Dimash for years and there is not a genre he cannot do masterfully, live or in a single take. I recommend the following performances My current favourite is "Across endless Dimension" For the lowest + highest + everything in between nothing compares to "Stranger" For opera (yes, opera) For rock (Queen medley) And "Daybreak" + check out the heartbreaking back story - very emotional and showcases (part of) his range very well. There's more, much more, but you can discover those for yourselves!

Recommendations: "Stranger" "Ogni Pietra" "Show Must Go On" "Ikanaide" "Daybreak" "Know" "Sinful Passion" and don't forget he is Kazakh and sings in twelve languages.

They may not like "Show Must Go On" because his "English diction" is not clear...again he was only 22 at that time and learning English songs phonetically. However, Dimash's Dears just love his interpretation and performance of that song 😍💕🌷

Close to this song MV production time Dimash used to sing this song the same way live alternating the prerecorded by him back vocals to be live and the opposite way! He has many arrangements …. for each performance it is slightly different ! You may try live “Idol hit” ( if to try the full version you will see how he works with his team to change the arrangement and so on…) … now at his solos this song he sings at the end of show to interact with the audience being very close to the crowd!🙌🏻♥️

Dimash songs to listen to “Love is like a Dream”. “Sinful Passion” “Across Endless Dimensions” “Stranger” “Olympico” “Hello” the list goes on. You have heard nothing yet. Please bear in mind he was 22 in this video, his English was very poor….. in 7 years his voice is masterful. He speaks in 4 languages and sings in 13 different languages. He plays multi instruments, in composes and more. Try “War and Peace”. The Story of one Sky….. video which took him 3 years to write and listening to his live version is phenomenal.

Hi! If you want to react to Dimash, some things you should know: - his English in any of his songs will not meet your expectations (somes are better than others). For us, it is not a big deal, we are from so many different parts of the world and just a bit of us speaks English as a native language. But if it bothers you as you said, better not to react to them, but you will really loose some incredible songs because "his bad English distracts you" as Stranger, Across Endless Dimension and his masterpiece The Sory of One Sky. Sad. - his pop songs are more "commom", they are songs that we dears can (try to) sing along in his concerts, "Screaming" is the final song in a lot of his concerts. If you want more contrast between high notes and low notes, watch Love is Like a Dream, Sinful Passion, Ikanaide, Love of Tired Swans, Olimpico. - The notes in the final part are called "staccato" that means "detached". It is a very difficult classical singing technique that Dimash mastered as anybody else. It is kind of his signature as men hardly do it, it is a technique mostly for sopranos like his mother. Sorry for my poor English, as Dimash, I am not a English native speaker. Hug from Brazil.

Don't apologize for your English. These 2 seem to be very picky about it. How many times do they say "it's like" he did this or that. He didn't "like" sing something, he DID sing something. Sorry, but I dont like Americans complaining about anyone's English
