This video was totally necessary. After seeing the first demo, I thought "oh, more of the same non-musical glitches". After looking at this one, I think it's a great and useful pedal. By the way, am I the only one who loves the color and design of the Onward? Greetings from Argentina! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am fine with the look of it as well, also there's no such thing as "non-musical glitches". Everything can be musical if you open your heart and mind too it.

instead of the "on/off"-switch panel, you need to make an input socket into which it can plug both the original "on/off"-switch panel and something similar to midi panels (to make your own presets of the included effects)

Hey kind of an irrelevant question but how are they hooking the mic up to Onward? How do most people use mics on pedals? XLR to 1/4" or do you go through a system like the Radial VocoLoco for instance?

Unless you’re using a mic that requires phantom power then yeah an XLR > 1/4” TS adapter will work just fine. Also make sure to enable the MISO dip switch on the pedal since you’re using a mono sound source.

In these demos, we use a small audio mixer to bring up the level of the mic before going into the pedal. The VocoLoco would be a great option for this. Cheaper options would be a Rolls MP13 or ART TubeMP.

Oh yeah, big time. Onward = Sampled freeze Lossy = Spectral freeze In other words: The freeze inside Onward is an actual recording of your sound. It takes a brief moment and captures it exactly as it was. The freeze inside Lossy is a recreation that analyzes your sound and builds a synthesized copy. Very different sound and feeling, Onward's freeze is closely attached to your playing, while Lossy's freeze wanders around and reinterprets it.

Man i really can't wait until you guys make another analog effect. Most of these digital ones you might as well buy something cheaper an you'll have two pedals. I have 9 CBA pedals and after seeing this i'm out. Pretty disappointment. You do you Joel, thats what matter. Goodbye.

Calm down, it's just a pedal lol. Kind of an odd thing to read from someone who has a 15 minute video of Lossy playing (which i actually do like)... Also, yes you can buy cheaper, but cheaper isn't going to get you chase bliss sounds or chase bliss love and help from the team.
