Hey Chase! I’m sure you get this all the time, but watching your videos inspired my wife and I to give winter car camping a go. We went up to Breckenridge and it got down to 6 at night. Following all your tips and tricks we were perfectly comfortable and are extremely grateful for you shedding light on the fact that you don’t need a camper and a 💰 ton of gear to make it work and have fun. I love that your doing this in a Subaru and its not like a crazy build something like this is achievable for most people I'm driving a lifted crv these SUVs with awd are kinda underrated I drove down ATV trails and when people see you in a car they're shocked

Love this video, beautiful snow!! Minute 16:07 with big icicles would be a great picture! I see where quality cameras are great for videos and your new white lens looks awesome in the snow! I liked how you combined your advertisement with you on video, I didn't fast forward it like I usually do! I was just in Mountain View, Idaho for 6 weeks. Anderson Lake was really beautiful, some folks were fly fishing. I rode down Big Sur in California, a must for anyone. I've been in Santa Robles for a month, beautiful winery's here. Monday I'm heading back down to San Diego. Looking forward to more of your wild photos.

People always learning the hard way on that Middle Fork road. Same with the North Fork in the summer. Always assume someone is coming the other way on those blind corners or you end up like that guy. Good on you for stopping and helping though. Hopefully they take that lesson to heart. Awesome video once again. You definitely sold me on those video editing courses on Skillshare!

I could brag about your videos and quality all day. The scenes. music chosen, the time taken. I say it every video I swear, but I think your videos are better then Casey Neistat , much better in my opinion. He's good at what he does, but you put something else into your videos that make me feel comfortable and there. Now, was that YOUR vehicle off the road. I'm so confused about that, because at the end of the video. you seemed way to calm for that to have been your vehicle. I still don't know what to think. Thanks Chase for another great video, as you can tell from others, we love them.

Anyway .. I googled green subaru as I had put a deposit on one and just wanted to see what I was getting, and Chase's videos came up in the google search. I have now mentally pulled all the seats out and worked out where I would like to camp, now I need a work car . Great videos, never ever thought I would be watching these, but they are very nice and calming and sincere. Thank you.

Sup Chase, i've been following you for a while now and i envy your activities so much! I'm currently stuck at home studying for university and i have little to no time to do some outdoor stuff. I've been looking into a subaru forester mk1/2 to buy in the near future and i'd love to camperize it as you've done to yours, as i've recently tried to sleep in a mitsubishi asx last summer in italy and it was a blast. I love your content, keep delivering, i'm a photographer too so adding photography in those videos goes a long way for me :) Keep up the beautiful work, doubt on the micro choices of a video but never doubt on the macro, your channel is truly beautiful, you're doing the right thing. Great vids. Used to tent camp w/ fam throughout ID, MT, WY when younger. Itching to get back. Notice in your vids you don’t reveal exact locations sometimes. Deliberate to keep good spots from being overrun? I imagine Frank Church is popular spot being so close? Also, how’d you fashion that table out the hatch?

Hey Chris, I know that you live in ID. Come check out our area here in north central WA state. We live in the mountains between Wenatchee and Leavenworth. Lots of places to camp year round. We have a lot of Elk, Deer, Mtn Lions, Wild Turkeys & a bear who lives in the SW part of our Mtn.

Hi, Chase! I also have a Subaru based camper. Made according to your example, for which I thank you! I recently made a self-contained diesel heater, that quickly installs in the back door window and heats the interior all night. Transported in the trunk, and installed in 30 seconds. Check out the review on my channel, maybe, you will do something similar for yourself. Best wishes!

Interesting thoughts and couldn't agree more. I am always torn with my own videos of being they typical ADHD KZfaq bouncing off the walls vs this sort of vibe. It works well for the filming though.

Hey Chase, regarding the Outback - ever have any issues with the 2.5 vs. the 2.4 turbo they offer today. Think it’s worth the xtra $5k ?

Jeff, I have not had any issues with mine but the 2.4 turbo sounds like a fun engine. The 2.5 is definitely a bit slow and I suspect the turbo 2.4 would have a bit more to offer.
