Chasing Amtrak 42 "Salutes Our Veterans" P42DC on the Texas Eagle

4 жыл бұрынI got word that Amtrak put their Veterans Unit 42 on the point of the Texas Eagle. Given that this unit has only been here once in its 7 years in the Veterans paint, I decided to go all out and chase from a crossing west of Wills Point to Crowley, TX and I caught it 6 different times. I also decided to include a clip of 42 trailing a few days prior on its first trip down. Enjoy and Thanks for Watching!

Stellar catches, and 42’s K5LA sounds pretty great! I wish 42 was still around because she was involved in a crash and was put out of service. Also I see the Texas Eagle’s all the time since they’re the only Amtrak trains we get where I live.

It has been retired due to reliability issues.
