This park is amazing but BUSY in the summer. Big fan of late winter early spring. Perfect timing for your video. Lots of running water.

I was lucky on this day as it was cold and rainy which left me the park all to myself! Totally agree avoiding it in the summer is probably ideal

Missouri is a beautiful place. I will be moving back to the Ozarks in the spring of 2024 and hitting up all of these spots.

I love hiking in all kinds of weather. It gives you a different perspective and like you said the water is higher making the waterfalls even more gorgeous. I do have waterproof hiking boots for the inclement weather days. That is a good idea to hike the trail first and then enjoy the view last. Thank you for sharing your experience!!! I enjoyed it!
