Archie I'm sure would be rolling over in his grave if he knew his people let a collection like that go for only $9,000. I can just imagine the 10s of thousands of dollars he spent amassing that collection plus the 10s of thousands of hours spent. To me you can't put a price on a collection of that magnitude.

I LOVE this video! It makes me love the card community more than I ever thought was possible! People in my life have recently told me that collecting cards is a waste of time & money & that I’m wasting my time & money. It's not a waste of time. I have been collecting since I was 7 years old, I'm going to be 55 in a couple of months. I have wasted some money, but never time. Cardboard was my first love!

wow, this is so cool..... I only WISH I had an opportunity like this... I have the money, but finding a fantastic horde like this is the difficult part.... Sure, I've had opportunities to buy massive hordes - but it's ALWAYS junk wax era crap.. I mean I would have EASILY paid 15K for this find... It's really amazing stuff and these guys should have no problem at all making their initial investment of $8200 back within a month - and the rest from there is ALL profit... Good stuff!!

When you were naming off things that you didn't find yet was because 93 SP was 10 to 15 a pack really quickly and a few other things you mentioned was the 1st increase in price for the traded sets and they were 3 times the previous year 7 to 21 dollars and there's 50 to 100 sets to a case! That's a lot more money 💰. Maybe he was just thrifty in his buying and Yes you do get lucky sometimes not often from 86 to the early 2000's. Here's also another example since he was single what if He was sick during the release of the product or didn't have the extra income at the time. Bills always come 1st and collecting comes 2nd.

Man, that's the card collection steal of a lifetime!!!! I have never had anything this cool happen. No family inheritance collections or anything. But I hear about it all the time. You dudes who got this in your families are lucky. I would love to be able to go through all of these cards.

My dad I were avid card collectors from the early 70s to the early 90s. He passed away in 2022 and my mom had me take all of our cards to my house. It took over ten trips filling the back of my pick-up truck to get them back to my house. He continued collecting after I moved out in 1985 and it was so much fun reliving my childhood passion of collecting cards with my pops. I am now in the process of organizing all those cards. I wish I was rich and didn't have to work so I could stay home and do it all day. I loved this video. Congrats on the great haul of cards you picked up.

I do cleanouts for a living in the Philly suburbs.believe it or not I had the same thing happen to me .only thing is I got paid to take the collection .filled up my 24 ft box truck.still going through stuff..a lot of work
