What a great find and a great care giver he was to the car. I almost shed a tear because I couldn’t imagine selling my dream car. What a fantastic story and a great wife he has.

He was a very active bike rider, got hit by a car so not as easy for him to shift anymore. Otherwise I think he would still have it.

Blows my mind to see a million subscriber worthy channel at 12,000 subs. I'm glad to be one of the first. I met Troy at Mopars at Merit's. Him and his team are amazing people doing amazing things. I love you guy's channel....but I'm a Chevy guy. I've owned some Mopars but the truth was back then they were cheaper than the Chevelles and Corvettes I really wanted. I like the way you guys are professional and the stuff you guys buy is always cool. You guys had a black 70 ls6 that I would've sold a kidney for but 63-7 Corvettes are my be all end all. I just wanted to let you know that I really like your channel and appreciate what you guys do and your knowledge. So thank you for making these videos.

Dam I would give anything to have that bad as ride.thats my favorite car of all times.i have always had a ss all my life my first one was a 1971 ss 454 Chevelle.i was 19 year old and today I'm 64 and I have a 2014 Chevy ss sandan red black interior.i did have a 1973 Bearcuda .that was my baby I was 16 then

Beautiful 69 Z. I had a friend who had a silver 69 with black stripes. That thing was wicked! The thing that always stuck out to be about them was how the shifter was almost straight. He use to bang the hell outta that thing.

Awesome Camaro , love watching your videos , I am a Chevy guy , but love mopars also , just like ya 😂😂 my mom had a 69 super bee , when I was young , was fast , 383 , automatic car , my dad had some tricks done to it , and most recently , my bud down the road , has a general lee , it’s fast also 440 car , there’s nothing like riding in it , we go to Car shows in it , a blast ride in , keep up the great work , I keep watching 👍👍👍

Troy that car is awesome, as nice as I've seen in the last 30 years. I was with a buddy of mine back in 69 when he bought one of those cars, it was the best day of his life, he still says that. Congrats, enjoyed your video, very much.

I am sure you guys have found the [partial vin on the block. If not its on the drivers side flat pad ....super nice car. Troy, I have the orange and black Z color combo you mentioned. NCRS will help with info as well as Jerry Mcneish website. This is a great find. Nice work!...Jim

my friend in college had a 69 z28 at chico state he was 18 years old the father bought it new for him to go to college he blew up 2 engines chev replaced them under warranty they told him if it happens again no more engines he blew up the 2nd one up sold the car with blown engine

LOL, the VIN is not on the cowl tag. Stick to Mopars. Take note that there are engine builders out there that will keep your steel crank and substitute it with a cast and you’ll never know it until the next time it needs to be taken apart. The bad thing about the engine rebuild, I don’t think they installed a 30/30 cam in it. In 74 I bought a 68 Z28 for $3,000 and a friend of mine is the current owner.

You misunderstood the conversation. I explain how the cowl “tag” has no vin, Tony reiterates that he is referring to the “cowl stamp” which is the vin stamping to the body. Some have been know to rebody these cars so it’s important to check and make sure that vin stamping matches. Ask us how we know 😂 we bought one, didn’t know to check and unfortunately that #s matching 396 4 speed is just a nice Restomod with a donor body. Learning curve we check that now which is what he was doing at that moment. Thanks for the comment 🍻

I think that may have come across wrong. What I meant was if your looking for a page that’s only Mopar that’s not us and as you’re heard in other videos I say all the time that I appreciate those guys, that’s just not me as I love all the Muscle cars. We’ve had several comments about showing non Mopars and I’m just being upfront, we chase all Muscle cars, we just love Mopar’s the most. We appreciate all our subscribers.
