You do make a good point but keep this in mind. Currently solar panels cannot be recycled. They just end up in landfills when they reach end of life. On the other hand vehicles of today run very clean so it's hard to say if one is really better than the other.

@@ftkinsella No problem. Personally I think I would invest in both. We plan on overlanding so we'll be in areas with no shade and conserving fuel is important but there is always a chance of days without sun. Redundancy is key when overlanding.

Hi Rich. Ty. That interview was done with my older iPhone X actually. I did get a new upgrade to iPhone Pro Max. Loving that. The Friday Dinner with grilling cod was the first published video with that camera. And I do think your right about Embassy needing more production capacity !

When I spoke to Terry he stated that they are looking at a piece of property nearby so that they can split the production of the RV's from the other vehicles they build.

Hi Lisa. My understanding is they provide a portable induction cooktop. I should verify that. But the portable cooktop provides maximum flexibility. There is no propane in an Embassy RV Thx for the question

Yes, @@lisamills8469 in the interview video with Terry at Embassy RV he covers both furnace and hot water. For me I like propane. In fact right now I'm Urban Camping in a parking lot near Las Vegas Airport for very early morning flight. I'm using my Truma furnace + propane to heat my RV through the night. It will be about 38 degrees tonight. While my Volta lithium would do thee job it would also deplete the energy pack causing me to use the auto-start to charge the pack to keep producing heat. Electric heat is more taxing than A/C I have found. So the engine would start around 2 AM drawing unwanted attention. With propane + Truma I am sitting in cozy silence!

Jury still out for me. Traditional tanks are simple to deal with, but they just don’t register correct tank fullness level. The Laveo toilet is compelling to me and is preferred by my RV parter Embassy RV. I’m not going for composting as still have to deal with waste similar to liquids tanks, just in a different way. Laveo or status quo for me at this point. Which way are you leaning?

good morning Scott.. I'm working the processing in negotiating a GL purchase.. pretty much a GL with all options plus several aftermarket adds.. ordering with NPFE tires and wheel - at least one dealer has said they can do this.. Do you know if the current vans have TPMS built-in -still not clear on this. I wish they could add the 4th battery cell in Volta like the NPFE - but so far no one is saying this can be done yet -- maybe you can ping Volta and Winnebago -- with no more NPFE that extra for one of the main reason to buy an L model would be a great option... ;-} any I'm adding internet enhancement like we boost and highend pepwave cellular modem router with wifi and cellar with external antennas - this is like a connect 2 on steroids -- with modem router inside and just antennas outside -- so easier to futz with sims - antennas connections -- getting mobile eye for safety sensors and I will later add the Alpine Halo 9 or 11 with idatalink maestro integration -similar to what The Ginger Walkabout did... probably will add the lift like 30 and a wake-up as I will be focused on camping in lots of different types of places and several other ideas gleaned from binging on these great vids for all you Travato pros - it will be a long wait for delivery after placing order - 6-8 months on the toilet.. yes the standard setup works well - just a fair amount of maintenance, the Laveo is intriguing for a b van -- especially as a part timer -- just think of no black tank - no black sewer dumping hoses - no saniflush - no chemical - no stinky gloves etc.. just take out the poo bag. now you may miss the ICE down the toilet times and maybe the secret of use the shower spray as a bidet (more water - less paper - cleaner backside) hot - soothing -- cold invigorating. the expense of cartridges is a concern but not a big one for me -- having the wet shower modded for it would bring a challenge of protecting the power connection -- I do think it would be far less hassle - if it is reliable for long term regular use.. see you in Wallace on Saturday

Hello BF10. Appreciate you watching and commenting ! There is a Volta Pure3 equipped Tavrato winterizing (for water) and storage process (for Pure3) that is outlined in Winnebago owners manual.Bottom line is to power down Pure3 and plug into shore if possible. Warming the Pure3 energy pack might be needed before it will discharge if the temps are very low, same for charging. Because of the way I use my Travato GL I have not winterized nor stored the rig, so not the expert on the process.

Hi Stan. Yes, I think you are right. However, my Travato has a traditional toilet waste tank system so I don't have personal experience with the cassette style toilet. Thx for watching and subscribing.to my channel :)

I spoke to Terry a couple weeks ago and he told me "yes". They are authorized upfitters for all three brands. He told me Mercedes USA had a client that required a unique build and they called him first to see if he would do the build. One thing to point out. They build, and have been building, all sorts of unique vehicles for many, many years.

I just looked at the Mercedes Sprinter MasterUpfitter list on their UpfitterPortal. Embassy RV is not listed. I'm sure they can upfit Sprinters, but they are not listed as a Master Upfitter. www.upfitterportal.com/en-us/upfitters/locator

Hi Tai. The is an older video. Prices fluctuate on many variables. Currently, you can get an Embassy RV for $125k to $150k, which is a bargain for what one gets compared to the big volume builders. You probably know the price includes a $70,000 fully functional van to start with, right ?!
