Chastity Belt are ruddy marvellous, and lucky me goes to watch them in Manchester tomorrow night. They’ve done some many fantastic songs, but if i had to pick one it would be “Black Sail”.

Started crying during the instrumental section cause after hearing the lyrics realized I went through the same exact situation when I graduated HS. Just aimlessly driving in my parents car back in '08... yeah.... good times, man... I was cruising the web then I found this song....and that was all I needed to hear to get me crying.... sigh....

Chastity Belt se alejan en su cuarto disco, de título homónimo, de su versión más gamberra y su estilo de punk juvenil. Podemos decir que es un ejercicio de madurez, el cuarteto de Washington abraza el indie rock, con un sonido más reposado, más trabajado, aunque por momentos rocen el dream pop. Son canciones perfectas para acompañar los primeros fríos del otoño, protegidos bajo una manta. Diez temas tiernos hasta quebrarse, que mantienen una homogénea línea melancólica, con la combinación constante de las voces de Julia Shapiro y Lydia Lund. La producción es austera, porque busca premeditadamente el sonido lo-fi. Medios tiempos llenos de languidez que te harán el día más feliz. Música independiente novedades.

The new Album in my opinion is quite a disappointment compared to the masterpiece "i used to spend….". With every album they were more quiet and slow, and now, they are nearly drowsy. But seeing them live in jena some weeks ago was a great experience!
