warlock often gets dismissed as a "boring healing bot" but to me the most satisfying thing in dota is to perfectly hit all of warlock's spells and just evaporate the enemy team

Ah Warlock: MY MAIN! I simply am in love with this hero! I basically was in a noob team as their support back in the day! I was the ONLY DEATH of that game in my team (died to the Tier 1 tower of all things), my Razor carry literally said "This is my first game as Razor!" I was like "Whenever I ping, you charge at them!!!" That was my best game as this hero EVER!

I saw people saying never to cast E, "upheaval is worthless" and stuff. I literally won mid a few times by maxing shadow word and upheaval and just casting it on the other player. They couldnt farm. Its hilarious how much people underestimate the damage of upheaval before it builds up, then try to change their mind at -100% move speed.

chatters who say that upheaval is a garbage spell are heralds lmfao

Alright, so, warlock is a core. Go to lane with 3 circlets, you now have 900 hp and a ton of atk. You build amulets and rush helm of dom. Why helm of dom? Because you want a burst nuke to pair with your fatal bonds. Never scale bonds early, scale your heal and slow and when you get dom you can get by with 1 or 2 points in bonds. Then you build radiance and aghs and refresher and drums and AC.

I would dare say warlock shard used to be broken. Before it gave allies a speed boost and before that it both gave allies a speed boost and enemies a speed slow.

warlocks ult is so damn strong i think one of the strongest ults in dota2 still and i saw myself and many others lose too much HP/getting finished my his W. (which then felt more broken for me than his ult personally) but i really dislike his face design who came up with such a disabled gnome face for a badass human sized warlock? bothered me since years otherswise cool hero just his face...

I recently started maining Warlock, his shard makes him IMBA, it's not only strong in teamfights, it also let's Warlock farm really fast. I won almost every match, except those I had no chance to win because of trash teammates.

The way you play and understanding of the game you should be around legend 4-5 or ancient. Keep it up Grubby

Don't leave your carry alone in a lane at level 6. Carries don't have items that early in the game and get killed easily. The idea of the support is surprisingly enough, to support the carry and assist by harassing the enemy, so the carry can farm. If you manage to do that, put wards and pull creep waves into the jungle you're golden.

Warlock is very basic but very strong. Especially in combat.
