It's a problem with indentation (I think, also a noob here). Make sure your indentation looks exactly like his in the video

hmm... It works but it's not very good compared to the web model of the bot I'd have to toy with this a good bit to get it up to par for me to want to include it on any discord server and it be of actual use

The code doesnt work in 2024 something about the openai module doesnt support older commands. So dont forget to install exact versions

Sorry, have to down vote. Author isn't responding to questions. And I've double checked all my code, it won't run for me as well. AttributeError: 'builtin_function_or_method' object has no attribute 'api_key' Anyone have suggestions to fix this?

In this 25min video, I have a discord bot that works with gpt, and I finnaly understand the system of "git" (why folder in folder, many files, etc...). Thanks for this video. But, is there a way to have our "own" gpt bdd ? (to avoid paid openAI, and with poor quality answer of course)

very nice, but I have the one error: "AttributeError: 'Message' object has no attribute 'auther'". I cound find a way to fix this. Suspicious is that when I hover over "import discord" in "discord_api.py" it says "Package containing module 'discord" is not listed in the project requirements" eventhough it is there just with a ".py" at the end. I tried to leave out ".py" or add just "discord==" but error still remains. Any ideas?

you spelled wrong, change "auther" to "author", hopefully it fixes it
