I got it today clean channel is bright and clear with a pedal sounds killer. I tried a Digitech, Zoom and MT-2, awesome sound The distortion is not good at low volume and low tunings, but this thing is made to play loud so at high volume sounds very good. Great for funk and hard rock The EQ is delicate and subtle, wich i like in an eq, not too drastic changes, just a little here and there, with a parametric even better sound Nice price, i got it new for the cost of a MG15 Very happy with it

Dude you do the best freaking reviews.... even though you don't speak english in your video. You rock man. If you happen to be reviewing something that I'm looking at I'll take yours over anyone else's -oh and you play awesome too dude.

@NorielWong1994 Not at all, solid state amps don't break up when the volume is pushed.

@JensenASJ laney lionheart is your answer. its best to buy the 5 watt so you could crank it up at low volume and get that beautiful tube sound at bedroom level. for gigging you could just mic it up.

I have Cort X6 with dimarzio evo, and distortion is sweet. Change pickups.

hey just a question im considering buying a amp like this first how much gain does it pump out and second does it sound good at low volumes any answers would be very appreciated
@mvlogiudice16 жыл бұрын
i'm wondering if it's good to use with pedals, since the clean sounds at least good =P
@richrich99113 жыл бұрын
@JensenASJ i've been gigging for a while, and mics never failed me. a bigger sound will make it harder for you to crank up your tube at home-level.
@NorielWong199413 жыл бұрын
@roryrockssocks do you think it will lose its clarity when cranked up:?
@DustinFRS15 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you have to turn it up about 3/4 of the way. I have this same amp.

I bought a Laney LX35 and an Epiphone LP100. The amplifier has a very loud static noise or buzz (even when the guitar is disconnected, just the cable is inserted). When I connect the guitar the bridge becomes electrostatic and I can get sometimes mini electric shocks when touching with my hand (very small shocks, I barely feel them on the bridge, my father can't feel them at all). I don't have earth ground, but I doubt this is the main issue. Can someone help?

Really nice amp for clean sounds. If you plan on playing clean guitar then i recomend it, really. Now, as for the distortion ...geez, it's really bad i tell you. I prefer my 15w behringer over this 30w laney cause of the distortion is a lot better on my behringer (which isn't a very good brand) than on this laney...
@mattysdiycovers65258 жыл бұрын
i have lx65r i always play metal i can crank up to a very crunchy tone like lamb of god and other tones without using any pedals just the amps crunch channel.mine sounds good in low volume even if its 2 or 1 and sounds good on high volume. my clean channel has this annoying hisss background even at low volumes, but overall this amp is a tank can acommodate from blues to death metal

Well it is only a solid state amp. If it were a laney tube, you'd be spending weeks getting the metal tones out of your head ;)

Podrías usar un pedal de noise gate, bajarle el gain un poco o alejarte de tu amplificador y mutear las cuerdas para evitar feedback
@ArshLX127 жыл бұрын
I own this amp...XTS mode is literal shit saturation on gain even on level 10 isnit enough to accommodate metal tones without overdrive pedals. this amp is well off only as a power amp for your pedal
