BearPanda does have a 1/4th previously that released in China in Jan and she absolutely fantastic, so true to the prototype and def giving other companies some good competition.

Yeah! I was going to say bear panda and a few other new cheap kine brands have had releases that have turned out great so far! So I’m excited to see what else they bring to the table! It’s also always really reassuring when they’ve put our good figures before

She’s a qilin which isn’t quite the same as a dragon. Couldn’t tell you what the difference is though haha

For me wedding figures are so hit or miss mainly bc i love a dramatic floor length gown but lots seem to cut them off at the ankles 😅

I'm with you on that Dimitri scale figure but I do preordered Alear cause (unpopular opinion) I love her design lol. I do think that she's overpriced and will probably tank in the aftermarket but I just can't help it hahaha

I felt that so hard on the Fire Emblem figures, I couldn’t really care for Engage, but would set my wallet on fire for a Dimitri or other Three Houses figures. (If you haven’t yet, I do highly recommend the Veronica one from Heroes. I just got her and she’s gorgeous, one of the best recent Fire Emblem figures to date!)

omg same exact thoughts on the rin and len pops! I adore the artwork in the bring it on mv but their expressions just did not translate to the figures well,, sad but as you said, means I can save my money hahah

I mainly follow articulated figures and action figures. It's interesting to see that Chinese manufacturers are making big in roads into that space as well. They may not have the big licenses but the sculpts are amazing, the quality is great with lots of paint, and you get more for your money.

Prices have and continue to go crazy up, you’re not the only one worrying/complaining about them 😭 Also hard agree on figures taking up too much space (almost for no reason). I can only imagine how big the boxes and expensive the shipping prices are gonna be 💀

its so egregious how badly expensive figures are becoming nowadays.. it blows my mind to see a figure that looks like 60$ at most be priced at 300$... characters w basic costumes and poses matching up to prices of highly detailed ones.... its becoming very hard to continue being interested in figures in the future

Pop up Parade is releasing an XL size figure of the giant girl from Seven Deadly Sins and it looks AWESOME!! It is about $200 USD so I am debating on whether to preorder or not.... Even though they are smaller in size I really love the detail in Pop Up Parade figures and the price isn't too bad. Right now I have Vanilla from Nekopara, Mami from Madoka Magica, and Mash Kyrielight from the Fate series. I also have a $12 Pop up Parade figure on the way and the price is outrageously good for the quality of the figure!! Sadly I cannot afford some of the more expensive scale figures so I try to stay content with some of the "cheaper" ones 😂

I feel your frustration. I feel like figures are growing exponentially in price. Sometimes i just don't understand why the price tag. It feels almost arbitrary. Even those gorgeos 1/4 kimono fugures are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overprice and breaks my heart because i want them. I saw a very good video about how overprice they are. =::::::( But on the other side none scale are getting better with quality i feel. Still some are hit or miss, but over all i see a trend. At this point i am so close to jump into GK and just build and paint my own just so i don't have to pau some retail prices here. hahahaha Anyhow, love your videos, glad to see you uploading again

The only FREEing bunny I'm interested in buying is the Miku one announced last year. She's kneeling down so it won't be that big lol Speaking of bunnies, I'd also much prefer buying FuRyu's BiCute Bunnies line since they're smaller and cheaper and fills that need. And I'm still salty about the Pekora figure being 1/4 since I want a nice 1/7 of her,,

Thanks for your video! I feel you, when it comes to shelf space. It feels like everyone wants elaborate bases or the manufactures make figures that need unnecessary much space, while I prefere small bases so that I can display more characters I like / awesome figures in my tiny flat 😅

I finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered my first scale anime figure :) I went with Yukino Yukinoshita: Light Novel Volume 6 Cover Illustration Ver. 1/6 PVC Figure and I am blown away each time I see the pictures of her. The attention to detail to capture her character and, more than any other figure of her to date, really capture her character so perfectly. Sadly not going to release until early next year, but couldn't be happier :) Decided to pre-order from an Australian store as the cost (after shipping) was going to be comparable to AmiAmi anyway. Not watched the whole video yet as I've had to save it to watch later together with my wife :)

I originally wanted the Thunderbolt Miku to go with the LAM Miku I got but athat price tag killed it for me lol. That and I doubt they'd fit next to eachother in a detolf!

Yeah~... real estate is getting real scarce atm and I can only covert so much of my living space to figure cases... FREEING is normally pass for this reason, but the surprises (Nagatoro?! Oreimo?!) are killing me and I would love that Pekora... Oof... Perfection; but at a price...

34:08 I really really want the Sei and Alear figures since I both love them and Mika Pikazo but the prices…. I’m pretty confident in Sei’s Bargain Bin candidacy on every figure site that has her up but less sure about Alear’s. Marth’s a staple of the GSCUS sales but Ike and Lyn weren’t… I think for Alear I’ll just PO and sit on it for a bit because of the Q3 2025 release. I’m extremely excited for the Ninomae Ina’nis nendoroid because her DX version has cute tentacles and while they’re a bit expensive for what’s plastic lmao I can’t not get them. The Kirby Cafe ones are also being ordered the moment they drop. I don’t think you’re being a cheapskate some of these prices are excessive

Good Smile Racing team do win races. In fact, they did a sale two years ago in celebration of their victory at the SUPER GT Round5 SUZUKA event held at the end of August 2022. Some thoughts of figures shown in this video: - I love the Ina Nendoroid and have her DX version (with the tentacles) pre-ordered. I can't wait for her release. - Bunny Pekora? I am already buying Kimono Pekora, so I will have to pass. - Strawberry Shortcake is too cute. I must stay strong. - The prices of new Fire Emblem figures just keep going up. I am good. - Figures that presume real estate is free: 100%. I will say they are good for the lowest shelf of unelevated cabinets, as you can still see their faces standing up.

Tha Ina (Ninomae) nendoroid is so cute! I love how they made her a deluxe release with her tentaculs too :3 So you can choose, if you want to pay more for the tentaculs or you are good with the base nendoroid which you showed. Also, have fun with Persona 3 Reload, It's my favorite game from my school days. The Elizabeth kotobukiya figure is so good, but only with the extra face. I did pre-ordered it with the extre face plate, which will hurt me and my wallet, but that is the real Elizabeth expression. I would not buy the figure without it QAQ

I love Alear so I want her figure, but when I think about that price tag and how I have figures like Apex’s Ningguang, eStream’s Megumin, or my most expensive purchase of MegaHouse’s Dialga & Palkia Spear Pillar statue I got for about ¥33K I look at that price for her and wonder if she’s anywhere close to equivalent for that, and the answer is just no. She’ll tank in the aftermarket since people are bitter about the game, and then I’ll get her at a price that makes actual sense like 8-9K less.

You need more crazy straws. For comedy. Regardless of that I was hoping for a Cammy to go with the Chun Li sitting on the wall from Good Smile, but instead we got more Chun Li. I do need a Kirby nendroid. I also just started watching Frieren recently, and episode one got me. EDIT: That Hatsune Miku Shimian Mafiu might be the first, and only Hatsune Miku I purchase. Its just a cool figure.

She was just talking about the Jalter figure made also by ALTER (the one with the huge flag) which she holds in high regard hence the "holy grail" status often said by collectors. It wasn't an intentional FGO game reference if that's what you think she said.

I preordered my first bunny figure. The Homura with tan lines..I wasn't sure if I should because her outfit is more revealing than I like. But her face is sooo cute. I also preordered 1/4 snow Miku and the racing Miku on a cake. I get tempted by those figures in nun like outfits too. But they usually have huuuuge breasts and look too sexy.

I would have to agree space is a big deal I've noticed a trend now of several companies jumping into the 1/4 scale game. I like many others like 1/4 however they are space killers I actually prefer 1/6 scale large but not too large as to eat too much space.
