Good luck Iga you are a strong young woman, you have everything to win! What you presented in Rome makes me optimistic, especially after the match with Elina Svitolina, I knew that you can win with everyone. The final was just "cherry on the cake". 🤞✌️💓💓

I agree with Daniela's comparison between Iga and Hingis' sense of anticipation. High tennis IQ. In terms of her shot-making, someone (I forgot who) recently compared her to Novak which I agree with as well, in terms of how well they return and the pressure their service return generates for the opponent, and how well they change the direction of the ball.

Daniela says Iga's game reminds her of Hingis + Radwanska + Capriati's. In my opinion, however, Iga's game is one of a kind. But if I have to choose a player who reminds me a little, I'll say Henin: same grit and winning temperament (and how Iga bit her lower lip while she hit).

@@kliu3531 I wasn't referring to Iga's shots by saying that they remind me of Henin's, I was thinking of her temperament on the court: same determination, same lip biting and same talent as the Belgian player. Hingis was good, but she was too "light" for modern tennis (her career practically ended when the age of the Williams sisters began). Capriati was strong, but her career lasted too short (even for non-tennis events) to compare her to Swiatek, which in terms of commitment, seriousness and dedication to her work really seems a whole different story. Finally, Radwanska had a great touch and was Polish like Iga, but the similarities really end there, given that Swiatek's heaviness of the shot and the ability to put pressure on the top players right from the response (Radwanska just if she dreams of them).

@@stefanomodonesi Totally agree with you! Iga reminds me so much of Henin. In fact, I had been waiting since Henin retired in 2011 to wholeheartedly support one female tennis player. But since last French Open, Iga has become my favorite. Helps that she adores my absolute favourite athlete in the world (Rafa) and sometimes even hits the forehand top spins like he does!

Off topic here but it's trippy how the bone structure in all polish people have. My best friend growing up is polish and he has the exact same forehead and face structure. Very uncanny

Believe me, it's also uncanny in Poland. I would call Iga's face as slightly exotic looking. Definitely not a common sight in Poland but I suppose it's very interesting to look at :)

@@Kubwaw oh for sure!! In high school, ALL THE GIRLS loved my buddy!!! He was desired for sure. Tall. With that bone structure you were talking about! The forehead though is where I noticed most polish people seem to have. It's that bigger and wider look.

Well now i know why Iga Annihilated poor ol Pliskova!! Apparently few hrs before they played, she ran into Rafa at the gym!! And she has pictures to show!!! Omg. She must've been the happiest person ever!! A kid in a candy store. If that didn't put her in the best mood before a finals then dunno what wud! That explains the 60 60 score
