Today is the 391st Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This brave king did everything he could to keep his father's legacy and the Maratha Empire alive. He was an accomplished king who was undefeated in a war, till the very end. When wars could not kill him, he was killed by deceit.
We have several lessons to learn from his life, but most importantly, we need to ask ourselves this question; why is this king and his bravery missing from our history? When will we stop hiding our history from our own people?

I am lucky that I studied in Maharashtra state board, where we had whole history of Shivaji Maharaj as a syllabus in 4th standard. Not like CBSE board where the Mughals are Glorified.

I'm not a marathi. But I know that till eternity we indians would remain indebted to the both Shivaji Maharaj and Sambhaji Maharaj. I wish such personalities could return back to protect us today. Hindu hridaya samrat Shivaji Maharaj ki Jay 🙏🏽🙏🏽 A small addition : As much we owe our lives & blood to our parents, we owe them to these immortal heroes the same. Each of us has the same blood flowing. Feel Shivaji, Shambhaji, Rani Laxmi Bai, Rani Chennamma, Lachit Borphukan and others in you. As I wrote above, eternally indebted to them. Jai Hind!

This is the reason why he was called as DHARMVEER Shri Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and one more information which should be shared with all is that Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj composed several books during his lifetime. The most notable is Budhbhushanam written in Marathi and Sanskrit, and three other books, Nayikabhed, Saatsatak, Nakhshikha which are written in Hindustani language ....He was only 14 years old when he wrote these books.

The video does make us cry. We are indebted to Chatrapti Shivaji maharaj and Chatrapati Sambhaji maharaj, they gave their lives so that we retain our identity as marathas and hindus. The least we can do is to teach their valour to the next generation irrespective it is present in our books or not and try to imbibe those values, morals, ethics in us as much as possible. We are blessed to have leaders of such great calibre, sonething that very few leaders have.

I also apologize for not stressing on that part and I never intended to make any statements with any such meaning. My true intention behind that comment was to encourage the people who want to write such books and also the people who want to help in the publications of such books. As no matter how many books are available in the internet or the market, books that truly want to educate the readers about a nation's glory should always be encouraged. And when we are specifically speaking about India I encourage such initiatives more actively, as in our history books many heroes who should be taught about in every nook and corner of the nation are ignored in reality

Bro I am From Goa and we also don't have Chapter Of Chatrapati Shivji Raje and Shambhu Raje Goa Board only have Mugal emperor and American History and Hitler. I know about Shivaji Raje cause my Mom told me about him I heard lots of story's about him But never Heard about the Glory of Shambhu Raje in 2016 I Got to know about him because of a Old Dusty Book in the Library. But still there are so many Memorial of Shambhu Raje In North Goa. South Goa is Full of Churches But Both South Goa and North Goa is Much Better than the North India cause atleast we Goans Knows About it
