I absolutely encourage you to continue to explore your neighborhood and try new hobbies. I do it all the time. My love tank is so full since I dumped toxic people and hobbies I’m not as passionate about. You’re so not alone!

There is just something so refreshing about cutting toxic people out of your life. I have very few people out there that I consider true friends...and they're so true that I now consider them family (truth be told, they've taken the place of some family members lol). There's no need to have anyone in your life whose sole purpose is to keep you down. Keep the positive vibes going! 🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for being so open with us. At 53 I'm still learning to not be walked over and to set boundaries. Removed a couple of friends in the last year due to how toxic it was and it was always me making the effort. I've always struggled making friends so sometimes hang on to ones that are not good for me. Better to have a few good quality friends then many superficial friends. Love this makeup look! This is the most I think I've ever related to you! This past year I have also been working on my mental health and like you, I say now I'm seeing things clearly. It's like before I had these blinders on and wasn't able to see things the way I see them now. I'm learning to not be such a pushover and to actually stand my ground. And it feels amazing! To finally feel like I have a voice!

Love this look and really enjoyed the conversation.Its so true what you were saying regarding doing things you enjoyed when you were younger.I think its really enjoyable and there is a real joy in revisiting a time in your life when you were happy its very liberating.I also wholeheartedly agree with friendships that don’t serve us anymore only too often we say yes to things that we aren’t into just to please someone else but it shows its a one side friendship. Hello 😊 I love this video & your makeup ❤ I totally get you’re saying about being an adult & making new friends. It’s so much harder & it doesn’t help when you’re an introvert like me plus I’ve been working from home for the past 3 years. I thought I was the only one who felt that way but I’m glad I’m not. This video really connected with me. In my early 20's I met my first boyfriend, he had a sister and I really wanted her to like me, then I met her friends and I also wanted to be liked by them. Soon enough I could tell there wasn't any connection with his sister or friends but I continually tried and tried my best for them to like me but they obviously didn't like me as I would always be the one to arrange to meet up etc never them. After two years me and my boyfriend broke up and even then I still tried to be friends with his sister and her friends and now I see that I shouldn't have. It took me a long time to see that wasn't who I was, I was very much an introvert and had social anxiety and they were completely the opposite of me but I forced myself to do anything to be liked whatever the cost to my mental health. It's only been in my 30's that I am proud to have the friends who like me for me and it's easy friendships and I have deep connections with all of them. I feel silly for who I was back then but I am proud of who I am now ❤.

I ordered the L’Oreal liquid eyeliner you was using didn’t realize that it comes with a stencil which I need because I am the worst at wing eyeliner,..so fingers crossed. Hopefully it works.❤

This video spoke to me on so many levels!!! I recently stuck up for myself in a professional settting and I put my foot down and said NO, not only was the person floored that I said no, but I already have so much on my plate already for my job! My supervisor was so happy I did it and I was so happy for myself …also you were talking about pivoting when something happens that might put a damper in your schedule..think of the saying “OH SHIFT” lol it helps and also adds some comic to your brain 😂 ps I love you and this look ❤

Hi Brianna! I’m 48 now with 2 grown up Kids of 22 and 25 and I’m still ALWAYS learning new stuff about myself. And as for toxic friendships or frenemies 😅 I also had to remove myself from them. OK I am new in my walk with Christ and I am with you. I was so nervous about starting a Bible study because I knew nothing compared to what the other women knew. I just say feet first girl just do it. We have connect groups in our church to basically small groups and there’s just so many different ones you could join and I cannot tell you, the comfort I feel knowing I have such an amazing group of women behind me. I’m actually getting ready for Tuesday night church right now. My life has changed like you would not believe my marriage my relationship with a People just you cannot imagine how much is changed? I’m just with you girl.

Before you put your makeup on your skin look nice and glowy and refreshed. Your giving off a nice positive vibe . I was a people pleaser myself I gave that up after years of doing it. I started with my EX IN LAWS . Before I got divorced I was the go with the flow kinda girl like you said for over 20 years. I started to say no to them more and more and it became “ WHO ARE YOU”!! When you make a change like that you havta let people go. For me I eventually got divorced and got rid of a very toxic family, best thing I ever did.

❤quite honestly, you hear all the time that you are learning all the time. but it is simply so true! I am 37, divorced after 13 years together, we have 2 children together. And my God didn't know what I was going for! I have failed, cried, failed again but got back on top! One day at a time ❤ bless this life, we evolve and learn all the time. I think that you really do love yourself and that’s attractive I mean you really do care about other people because your sharing yourself and you can’t put a price on that I’m glad to have known you I really want to have a healthy self love and I think we learn from each other but ya people pleasing isn’t good I’ve had to put down boundaries with my neighbor today and it’s hard but you have needs and the only way they are going to be met is if you say something?

It is SO hard to make friends as an adult. I work from home and all of my coworkers work in different states, so we can’t even get together on the weekend. I grew up in Georgia and moved to Florida as an adult, so my friends are all in a different state. It’s kinda depressing.

Honestly if it wasn't for my kids, I wouldn't have a friend. I retired (Navy) to a town where I have no family, friends or coworkers. So I made one friend through my kid. Oh, well. 😆

I love to hear you are seeking God. I just bought a beautiful Bible called Thrive. It's the NLT version and easier to read and understand. The devotionals in the book are excellent. They are so encouraging. Don't ever feel embarrassed to join a Bible Study. Everyone was there at 1 time or another. I've been studying for years and still feel like a beginner. I don't give up, though. God brings me so much peace. I love your channel. You are beautiful inside and out. Thank you for sharing. I went through all the same channels of life.

Lol I hate grocery shopping… I don’t order them to my house anymore, but I think I’ll generally always stick to pick up! People were always so rude and didn’t give me any space when I went in person🥲
