Chaz :in Parts documents the creative process of Chaz Bundick (Toro Y Moi) as he crafts his latest album. The film spends time with Chaz as he develops one track from start to finish, beginning with early sketches in a notebook all the way to a complete mastered recording. Shot on VHS, the format offers an intimate portrait of Chaz as he pursues his biggest album yet, not just sonically, but conceptually.

Toro has been my favorite artist for years, and the one question I've always had is how he got the grand piano riff in cake to sound as dreamy as he did. Chaz if you see this and feel like revealing your secret, that'd be tight

Wine and salad while listening to his and his band's music is special and watching this and being able to feel the nostalgia and what he means is special I feel like I need to be more of a kid being only 17 and already feeling the weight hit my shoulders
