Everyone man and their dog knows the NBA refs have had massive questions marks over their head for decades(we know some of them have rigged games), why the NBA doesn't take it more seriously is beyond me. These refs that have been in in the line of work for 20 odd years need to be moved on, they don't even call travelling now and it pisses me off, I don't like the likes of Durant and Lebron James taking 6 steps then dunking, fucking call travelling for fucks sake!

What is it? Is it refs betting on games? The league telling refs to make sure teams like the lakers and bucks get wins? Or is it really just human error? I feel for Mike Brown and the Kings and other similar teams.

he isnt making any sense. he picks 2 isolated scenes to prove a point, goes on to say that 19-5 can happen naturally without any foul play and says everyone is just human. Then stfu and move on. he wants consistency. someone needs to explain to him the laws of big numbers. consistency doesnt happen in ONE game, it happens in dozens of games if not a whole season. you cant go from a couple of games and get all paranoid. streaks are a law of statistics.

@@maxmeier532he’s saying that he believes the refs were being inconsistent although was suggesting that MAYBE it was just an off day for them and they just made mistakes in order to avoid getting fined by the NBA. he wants clarification of a specific rule that was being called inconsistently throughout the game and the entirety of the season. I dont get what didn’t make sense from his statement. Do you want him to spend 50 minutes and pull up forty different plays, he only showed two plays but there were far more examples of poor officiating in that game and the season as a whole.

I appreciate this a lot. As a fan and a really big thinker when it comes to basketball, the lack of consistency is what really agitates me the most when watching games. I just want consistent officiating, that follows the rules. No favoritism either, ever. I don't give a damn if you're the biggest money generating team or player the league's ever seen. I don't care if you're the literal GOAT, you get no favoritism. Just consistent, honest, direct officiating without any extra bullshit. That's why I can and always do point out and admit when I think and see my own team and favorite players deserve a call both ways. Foul, turnover, travel, double-dribble, etc. I call it immediately. It's no bias involved, bluntly honest and direct.

Problem is the refs aren't even 100% on what needs to be called. The NFL and NBA don't treat reffing as a full-time jobs, just so they don't have to give out health insurance and 401ks. Imagine if instead referee was a 365/24/7 position where you were constantly in training and making sure you were up on what the rules and regs are in real time. Reffing in these leagues would be at whole different level.
@TheCriminalViolin
@TheCriminalViolin 5 ай бұрын
@@RaKnows Is that so? I know the NBA pays them white collar salaries though. NBA Refs average upwards of 500K a year, with the base refs getting in the range of $100k a year. If they're independent contractors officially/legally, then they're paid wicked good money despite it. And they should be treating it as a serious job with a consistent schedule, as it is one. Mighty arrogant if they really just don't care enough about doing their jobs right. And as for the aspect of not knowing/agreeing on what should and shouldn't be called, that's due to personal bias/interpretation, peer influences, likely life things like insufficient rest leading to bad moods/lapses, and of course, rigging. Additionally, the NBA isn't very good with making their rules clear in the first place, which guarantees consistent inconsistencies.

So what Darko was wrong because he was a little more brash and serious I'd prefer my coach let em have then dance around with a laptop shouldn't have to use one to point out the obvious that's what Darko was complaining about shouldn't need a replay center or to bring a fucking laptop out to prove their was bullshit calls

@mobynic I agree with u 1 million percent that Darko was 100% right and shoulda never ever been fined. That's how pathetic it's become that even when coaches like Darko who love n respect the game aren't even allowed to like raise their voices before the nba threatens punishment. I praised Mike cuz he was just so close to snapping that it took all his will power to just this once present the coaches argument or rightful complaint in a different way

I’m going to point this out here: So far, no matter how good or bad the coach is, every single one of them that has given an interview about a ref and a bad call has been right That being said, every single one of those coaches have been fined and the refs have not had a single penny taken out of their paycheck. Insider or 60 Seconds has to interview Adam Silver about this specifically- Silver has been a great commissioner, but he needs to learn that it is not a good sign when the league is supporting its officials over its players and coaches when they are more competent than them
