On this day, we start from Boguszów - Gorce and our route is again marked by the green long-distance trail Wałbrzych - Szklarska Poręba. We travel through the Wałbrzyskie Mountains again, but this time our main goal is Chełmiec, the peak of KGP (the Crown of Polish Mountains). After reaching the top, it turned out that the observation tower in Chełmiec was open and free of charge, so we eagerly took advantage of this opportunity. However, this peak is unfortunately not particularly attractive.
Entering Chełmiec from Boguszów is a piece of cake, but descending along the green trail from its other side is pure, hands-on driving! It's unbelievably steep!
Then we head to Lubomin and then to Trójgarb. The green trail to Trójgarb is extremely charming and pleasant, but when we reached the top we were surprised - it was a sunny Sunday and whole families went there for a picnic!
However, the tower on Trójgarbie and the views from it made up for any inconvenience! Magnificent 360° panorama all around!
Finally, we left this charming place and headed towards the village of Gostków. It was an extremely pleasant hike. And as we approached the village, we saw a renovated historic Dutch windmill from the 18th century. The windmill stands in Gostków, or rather on its outskirts, and is a truly charming attraction of the area! It's so good that the owners finally took care of him.
After walking through the entire village, we arrived at the Polne Kwiaty agritourism farm for the night. It was another successful day!
