That is EXACTLY what I want to do for my Lincoln...I don't have a lot of power, but I do have a lot of tight winding mountain roads and brake fade is an issue with my big car so after my new engine is in I want to focus on handling and stopping.

Glad you got it all bolted up and running. 345 CSL is perfect choice as well. Brake bias will be closer to stock. I've got the same setup pending on my Z3M

So if you’re doing this on an E46 330i front to accept the Porsche 996 6 disc, what issues might be encountered on an actual E46 M3 front hub? Thanks and it was wonderful to watch you reaction when they fit for the umpteenth time!

it says the rear bracket adapter will only fit on the m3 e46. Would i be able to use the rear adapter on a 2005 330i? Or would i lose my parking brake?

Didn't work all the other times because u never grind down the corners for the mounting bracket. That's what you did different this time.

Did not understand most of that. Think could have been a bit shorter and concise mate no offense but that should have been a 3 minute video with one SLOW explanation as to what you did.. I LITERALLY have a headache trying to work out what you were saying I dunno if you were just hyped up or drunk lol 😅🤦🏻 And I still have no clue as to what you were trying to get across only a vague idea that I would have absolutely no chance of repeating or following of I wanted to do the same and I'm pretty sure we STILL don't know if that works? Also are you not concerned that the heat generated from all that grinding (apart from losing material) has POTENTIALLY weakened the metal that you're attaching BIGGER brake calipers to!? Eg. Are you not concerned they're now brittle and weaker with potential to brake under heavy load?

I don't think you understand how structural rigidity works. Grinding off the extra squared off part does not harm the brake system in any way it helps loose a bit of weight. And yea his video was convoluted but its more for entertainment. So relax there bud.

Why not just swap in 330i brakes instead of the expense and effort with the Porsche equipment?

@EX_Simon Robertson Nah the 330 brakes would be a bit less expensive then the porsche brakes when getting new, if getting used then yea 330 are cheaper.

No offense man but you don't seem like you know what you're doing. Maybe get a friend to give you a hand, you seemed real confused. With the right parts that swap is a breeze.

Bro you very confusing, it had always fit in that combination, but obviously you was doing something wrong the whole time😳, alway good to have an friend mechanic double check you work if you are not knowledgeable and just trying things...confusing 😳
