Shopping in Montenegro is surprisingly expensive, I find it much more expensive than in Germany. Have been shopping in many HDLs, VOLIs and Ideas 😮

Great video! I see that some products are even more expensive than here in Sweden! 😳 And it’s probably even more expensive in the smaller tourist resorts... We are going to Petrovac this summer.

Thanks for insight, really valuable information. :) As I myself come from easter part of Europe we have lots of the same brand food products as rest of EU but in lower quality. If I check the ingredient descriptions on the same italian pasta you mention there would be languages of counties like CZ, PL etc. Would be great to know how it is there! :)

Thank you so much Elena! It's almost very complete haha, if next time you could also include some baby products such as, diapers, formula, purees and baby shampoo it would be awesome 😎 We love ROSHEN chocolate 🍫 btw. Prices are similar in Lithuania but I think fruit and veggies is cheaper in Lithuania.

I am from Italy, I confirm you that the grocery in Montenegro isn't expensive if we paragonate it to the same in Italy. But the avarage salary in Montenegro is like 600/ 700€ a months, so it's difficult to live for the local people. But in the last period the prices are increasing more and more everywhere. I remember that up to 1 year ago shopping in Slovenia was cheaper than in Italy. In the last 4 months there is no longer any convenience. And this is now the case in almost all the Balkan countries
@redhead_inc

@@redhead_inc yes, I used to go shopping in Slovenia and it was more economic. I went 1 week ago and the prices in general are the same than in Italy. Also bread and beef is more expensive. Now there is no convenience🥲

too bad Budva has no green markets? Grocery stores are always more expensive. Bar is less expesnive for sure. Try making your own Muesli. Fun to make and so healthy:) My recommendation is finding people with fruit trees and buying directly from them. We had a local farmer in Bar and we literally would go there to pick our own. How i miss that!
@redhead_inc

There are definitely open air markets and farmers selling their own produce, but supermarkets are way more convenient. Plus, there is the language barrier and also the fact that they can charge you more if you speak English. To each their own!

The pringles can over there is about .20 US more expensive than pringles where I live in America (Washington DC Metro area). The Nutella is significantly cheaper over there though by about $1.80. I was a little surprised to see corn bread in Europe, I considered it to be an exclusively American, and particularly Southern (Georgia, Alabama the Carolinas etc) thing. If you ever want to try your hand at making it when you cannot get it in the store you might want to look up a recipe, it is not difficult to make.
